240K Still alive after 15 months
I have been meaning to take pictures and post some info. Yes I did get the stainless trim back. It's very nice and I'm happy. It cost me $200 (they didn't want to charge too much as I had waited for 4 months). Very long story, but I got the bits back in the end and that's what counts. Due to the dings that had to be straightened out it's not perfect like a NOS piece would be, but you have to expect that. I'll take pictures eventually - but you can probably see it for real in a week or so

My KGC10-R Engine.
What nice results Jim! All ready for the Bathurst run now I see! Just in time too. I've got new spark plugs and points yesterday, but I'm thinking maybe I should replace the leads too? Is this easy to do? Not sure what else I can do within a week to up performance a bit. Gotta keep up with those Princes... What a difference the tune did. The dyno chart really says it all.

240kbox
Well, firstly this is in the wrong forum. You should post it in the 240K forums! Secondly, ratios I believe are here somewhere - please use the SEARCH function to find what you are looking for in the future before making a new topic. The ratios you are looking for can be found here - http://www.classiczcars.com/forums/showthread.php?t=20145&page=3

If you can tune them yourself, should be good. You can always swap back right?

Do it, you'll probably find she appreciates the compliment, and you never know what it could lead to. That's how I got my car

Auto to Manual Conversion Guide
Hi Mat, yeah the hydrolic line came out of the parts car too. We replaced the master and slave cylinders though - not sure if I mentioned that. The line was simple enough (easy for me to say, Peter was the one who hooked it up!). I'm not sure if you can get these new or not, but the one we had was fine.

nissan C110 knockoff
Yeah they are pretty similar in design style. Some of the other Nissans of the era are similar too. Here are some pictures of an American one (note the fabulous bumpers) that was on eBay in October 2004 Very much an oddball car, but I think they are great. Quite futiuristic from some angles... and from others, well....

240K Vs 240Z rear brake kits
Good information . . . . so it looks like if I get this front set up previously on Kent's car I will need late model 240K struts as mine are early? And a new master cylinder too - or would that only really be necessary if I changed the rears too? (Sorry for diverting the topic a bit!!)

I'm fairly certain it's from a Nissan Patrol - with a C210 / R30 steering wheel.

240K Sedans for sale EBAY
I wonder how much the reserve is... I would quite like that engine! Also, I'm wondering if the picture of the interior is of the same car??? Does not look like a 240K interior.

280 Zed in Australia
Very interesting! They certainly were spoilt for choice back at home. In Australia we only ever got the 2+2, and 2+2 T-bar I believe... definitely short end of the stick on that one! Thanks for all the information though. The structure of the VIN prefixes is good - very sensible and consistent at Nissan it seems compared to some other companies... Sorry for making this thread go off-topic MOM! I believe your original question has been answered now though.

Artesia 9th annual car show. We represented.
Yes I saw that too Arne! What was going on there?? It does look like a beautiful car though. In fact they all do (for what they are). Congratulations on your 2nd place!! It's great that Japanese cars are finally being recognised at events on the same level as others.
