Thankyou! The R380II definitely needs to be in that list IMO, as well as some early Mazdas but while the magazine stays an American publication I guess it's understandable the cars they pick. If it were in Australia no doubt they would have the Malborough R32 in there up near the top. A top 50 would be nice... I would like to see what a Japanese publication would choose. Has Nostalgic Hero or something similar ever done a "list" like this?

NOTE However that this is for a Datsun 240K, not a Z. They share the same engine and transmissions are very similar though, so most of it is still applicable. Yeah it's nice, fits nicely in the palm of your hand. About 2" in size. It's the exact same shape as the original knobs, but in metal. Now I just have to source a outer gearboot. Will just try to get one made up at a local auto trimmers, otherwise back to Yahoo Japan I go!

In Australian English Datsun tends to be pronounced "Da- doh" (with 'a' in 'da' sound as in 'cat' and 'doh' the same as 'dough') Good topic! Why not get the pronunciation of "240Z" correct while we're at it? :cheeky:
