NISSAN skyline 1600 * 1800 * 2000GT sport option part
It probably ended without bids and was restarted Notice it lists parts for the C110 and the C10. This would be interesting But a little too much for me. I think you're right Tom, it must include both... If you look closely at the second pic you will see the first heading is "GC110" - ie long wheel base!

One day to get this!
I've got it! Currently being "backed up" to DVD. Craig, that KT movie sounds awesome too. I really hope it will be aired again this year - and please make sure to tell us if you find out when/if it is scheduled!

Got a radio!
Nice score! It will look just right. If you ever do get tired of the radio, you could buy a nifty little device that looks like a cassette, but plugs into your memory stick and plays MP3s. I have one somewhere...

skyline on ebay!!
Hi Dave, I do hope you are reunited with another Skyline soon. Just for clarification on this - the Prince S54-BE was sold in Australia, the C10 was not, the C110 was (of course no GT-R's), C210 was, R30 was, R31 was, and a limited run of R32 GT-R's were sold to homoglate them for Bathurst. We haven't had any since. In regards to Motorex, this is what I heard, for what it's worth:

Classic Motorsports "top 10" Japanese Race Cars of all time!
Awesome information Alan. It never ceases to amaze me that these cars still exist and are run every now and then in Japan. Amaze is probably not the right word.... more like, ecstatic! For now, I can only hope Nissan Australia does something with the Winfield Skylines next year with the release of the new GT-R. Somehow I doubt it though. They wouldn't even let me park my 240Z next to the 350Z at the entrance of the hotel at it's official debut... "A Datsun?" Your comment about none of the aforementioned cars being in your top ten list makes me curious. Not even the R380-II? I realise I am going way off-"topic" here... but if you are not too busy I am sure I'm not the only one who would love to hear your impractical list Thankyou too Ron for letting this be a constructive thread. I wish you luck with your talks with Nissan.

One was back to Japan, the other to Kuwait. They are still worth a pretty penny in Japan compared to Australia!

#682 on e-bay
I think DavD3 is talking about the "handle" on the driver's door (interior), rather than the actual 'door handle'. Looks like a lovely car, but not too fond of the seat upholstery.. Are the D hubcaps meant to be such a light grey?

240K GTR Flares
Oh I get it - if you still have the links of the auctions you won I can access them and post the pictures...

240K GTR Flares
Don't forget you'll need the mesh, brackets and badge for that front grille. And that one looks like it is missing some mounting points. Here are the pictures from the other auctions.

How Close Are Our VIN #'s
He is on the board and has posted a few pics in the gallery, but hasn't been active for a long time. I can still contact him if needed, but it just depends on what the purpose of the spreadsheet is...?

Yup, that's my guess Bruce. I have now heard of two people exporting these cars out of the country. Apparently there is a healthy profit to be made.

More Z's on Ebay....Very Sad
You'd buy anything Bill I think he would have better chances if he just sold them individually... Some of them look fine. If they were in Australia they would have plenty of bids already! Lucky sods!

Classic Motorsports "top 10" Japanese Race Cars of all time!
I was going to post what Alan said, except it probably wouldn't be as well written. So I will just re-iterate. I'm not sure whether I should get angry or just laugh at this topic?? It is a kick in the face for real historians. And by the way, if you wanted to make a poll, just DO IT.

One Owner 240K On Ebay
He never responded to my inquiry about viewing the car either... I haven't seen it advertised elsewhere so maybe someone did a deal under the "eBay table". Either that or he decided to keep it. I'm just bummed I couldn't see it - I would like to see it even if it's not for sale, just to see if it is as clean as it appears in photos. It'll be alright Kent, you have enough of the things for now!!

Fuel pump woes
My car has been reasonably trouble-free since I bought it, but one thing that continually seems to stuff up is the fuel pump. I've bought 3 new ones now... but it's having the same problem again. It's weird, I'll describe it. Upon starting the engine (seems to be the same whether its cold, warm or hot) the fuel pump will pretty much immediately start leaking fuel. I was told the first three times it was just a broken seal so I have just replaced it but come on, the problem must be originating elsewhere, surely? As soon as you start driving, the leaking stops. When idling at traffic lights or in a car park it seems not to leak either. Just on startup. Do you guys have any thoughts, ideas or solutions? Note that I have 240Z round-top hitachis on an otherwise standard L24 in a 240K. And yes, I did search the forums first.

How Close Are Our VIN #'s
I just had a look at the spreadsheet for interest's sake, and saw my name. I should point out that I no longer own HS30-001031, a bloke named Patrick Russell does in Canberra. It is from what I understood a 1971 240Z.
