Who's game? (240K on ebay)
OK, now this is interesting! Was the car badged a 240K GL or GT? It's a 1973 from your sig. What's the month of production and VIN (if you dont mind)?? Sounds like a good reliable car - with a so-so body. Just what you need for that rally

Your birthday car
Kats' new thread gave me this idea - how about we post pictures of the cars that were just coming out when we were born! I know it's a bit silly, but I thought it could be cool... anyway, without further ado, 1984: And finally,

Thanks Jim, that sounds like it! So then, in America do your 240Zs' parking lights light up orange?

Now I don't feel so bad
Does anyone know the story about these clear indicator lights? I know my car had them and a few others in Australia I've seen with them too, but not really anywhere else. I am assuming they weren't always aftermarket since they are "genuine Nissan stock"...

OT- GT 4 Roadster
You wont regret it, Victor I haven't even played that game yet, but my little brother is getting it for his 13th birthday in under a week. Should be fun, if I can get the controller off him...!

Radiator repair
Hi guys, just wanted to add closure to this thread - I went for a standard recore - just 2 row as I don't really need anything more. Was $300 and was very quick. I had a bit of grief getting it back in (did up a clamp too tightly and squashed the outlet pipe on the bottom of the radiator :stupid:) but it's all good now. Thanks for all your help guys,

240Z racing and street videos
Rewinds I think. They're not Watanabes. It does look slippery, what I'm concerned about is the crash damage on the *right* side of the car! I guess another car came afterwards and hit him from behind by the looks of it

LHD 240Z in 1969 TOKYO auto show
I don't want to ruin Kats' thread, but just so everyone knows: 1. I do not live in the US, 2. I do not own a Z, and 3. I definitely do not think Goertz designed the S30! That's why I said in my post that I agreed with Kats on every point. I just thought it was a pretty broad statement to say "everyone in the US" believes the same thing. Hell, there are still magazine articles being written saying the S30 was really German-designed :stupid:. That is all!

LHD 240Z in 1969 TOKYO auto show
Everyone in the US, Bryan? Big call! Thankyou Kats for sharing your thoughts about the Japanese Z fans! We do not get to hear very much from them as there are not many Japanese members on the board. I am very proud that you post here though :classic:, and of course, I agree with you on all points. Like Ben said, it is very interesting to see what actually goes on in Japan. It also answers what I was asking in the other "1969" thread about what Japanese publishers publish - it is mostly about the Japanese models.

Cleaning the roof (interior)
Hello! I have noticed that the roof of my interior is pretty dusty especially around the edges, and really could do with a good clean. Apart from taking the whole thing out to clean, is there any particular method you'd use so that you get a decent enough force while not stretching the material. I know, sounds simple enough just to use water and a cloth, but I thought there could be a trick to it . . . :cross-eye
