  1. What about the tighter ones? :cheeky:
  2. I think he meant Peugeot 205 GTi.
  3. Well, my dad had just turned 21 at the time. Lovely videos kats. Thank heavens they documented the trip :classic: And thank heavens you are sharing the experience with us!! I am so thankful. That is Mr. K in the blue shirt in "photo4.mpg" right? What do you think the people are doing in that part of the video?

calling America woop woop, losing your edge Will!
  5. How can they argue that tax for petrol should be paid for how far your drive, not how much petrol you use? Surely you would want to encourage fuel-economy, not discourage it?!?!? Or maybe it's just an excuse to monitor everyone. Next up - automatic speeding fines emailed to your door! err.. dont laugh too soon

It also has special "Mr.K" edition rear emblems. Personally fitted by Mr. K! That's why they are not in the position you'd usually see...

A Nice colour, I like it! This one might go for a bargain. Chris? You know you want to

I read it like that too.. I hope they can prove it! Looks like it's still very clean and straight. Pictures are kind.

  12. Hi Coung, I didn't know you had a 240K! Can you post pictures for us please! As for your question, I don't know but I do know the hardtop and sedan have the same wheelbase! HKS has already answered the question anyway so it's alright. Anyway, HKSZ, how come you know so much about 240K's? Hmm??
  13. Bear in mind that the R32 seats will be 15 yrs old whilst the Recaros will be new.. right? Although, I still like the looks of the R32 seat better. But I'd prefer a "Datsun bucket" over both of them Nowhere near as ergonomic as those though. Here are some pictures of seats in C110's. I'm sorry I don't any with the BNR32 seats, I'm sure someone has done it before. Maybe Michael has one...
  14. Or add 10 grand to my budget to get one locally!

  16. What, not importable at all? I just thought they would be treated like the <15 yr old cars are now? That is, cannot be modified in any way and cost a packet to get up to scratch with the ADR's? Like you, I am really keen on an BNR32 at some stage in the distant future (hopefully before they become classic ). I'm not sure I would import one through Geoff or another company though, difficult to know what you're getting...

I might stick with the upgraded 3-core one then. Does 375 (293 USD) sound like a reasonable price? To recore it without upgrading was 300 (235 USD).
  18. It does look familiar indeed! http://www.classiczcars.com/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=6882&sort=1&cat=all&page=1

Hi guys, I rang up several places on the Gold Coast and the best deal looked like upgraded to 3-core for $375. That sounds like a fair bit..!? Especially when you say you can get an aluminium radiator for $208 US... Are aluminium radiator replacements a bolt-in thing?
  20. Hey Mikey, here are some pics. It's a pretty simple mechanism, do you see how it works? The plastic bit locks over the latch on the body-part of the cap, like HKSZ said.
  21. Well, it was good while it lasted.
