FILMS "Road test in the U.S. & CANADA Oct-Dec 1969"
Absolutely fantastic footage. Thankyou so much for sharing this with us. If it weren't for you, I'm sure many of us would never ever see it. There's something really awesome about seeing a brand-new Z-car. As a younger person it's hard to imagine how a new 240Z would have been like..... would have liked to been around back then!

Ooh baby, I think I'm going to have to spend the extra $$ to get extractors. Sounds very nice Tom!

VQ30DET NEO
Hi Robert, my mother's Audi is CVT. You're right, it just goes BRRRRR!! Or in case of a VQ30DET, ZOOOOOOOM!! Doesn't sound like you're accelerating at all.

35th Anniversary edition Nissan 350Z
I still like what Stephen had to say about the car when I posted about it a year ago: "How can you have a 35th anniversary when five of those years are missing?" I do like the wheels, though.

VIN Decoding
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think this means it's the 218,079th left-hand-drive S30 produced (roughly)?

Ok, here is the poll!
I didn't know this, Will. Are these parts visually identical? As for my opinion, read what Carl said! :bandit:

Police Version
Thankyou all for the pics, I'll save these for later! (Jason, it's more like your police force picking out the latest and greatest Corvette for service. The Z432 wasn't made for the police as far as I know. Do a search on this site for "Z432" and you'll find heaps of info about it if you're interested!) So, anyone got a picture of a 240ZG police car?

Police Version
I agree with that last part Ben. Lots and lots of original details and nitpicky things. That would be one hell of a challenge to try to find what these details actually were though... I'm sorry Ben but I did not save those images to my hard drive, and now they have been removed from the auction site (it was a fair while ago!). The car was a 2/2 ex-police car I believe, but looked like it had been resprayed in plain white at some stage. There was a photograph of what the car looked like when it still was in service, and another of what it looked like now.
