Ooh, braided hoses!! This one just has rubber tubes, which look good but not perfect. It does have plugs and wires though I'm experimenting with writing the little letters on the wires.. I think it's too small to do properly though so they might end up just plain. I would greatly appreciate if you could ask your father about the shop, even if for nothing more than to check out their website!! :classic:

Hmm, does anyone know whether the little bolts on the sump should be black or coloured (see pic)? From your picture Chris it looks like they should be plain metal (silver), is that right? I also searched the gallery and found a picture of a petrol tank with an "inspection sticker". I'm guessing that this is not a factory sticker? Kmack are you here? picture is here: http://www.classiczcars.com/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=6939&sort=1&cat=all&page=1

OT: 1968 Honda S800 for sale!
I think a convertible one would be so very cool. The coupe might be a little claustrophobic! The new Gran Turismo game, GT4, will have an S500, S600 and S800 (as well as an N360).

Yeah, he is Brazilian-born actually. Hopefully though his 911 will be an advantage in creating the next GT-R. :classic: edit: Check out this link. http://forums.freshalloy.com/ubbthreads/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=UBB1&Number=67673215&page=1&view=collapsed&sb=5&o=&fpart=1

Hi Rick, Care to upload a picture or two of it?? I'm sure many would be interested to see how your model looks :classic: The instructions on this one are English (well, Engrish) and are very detailed and easy to follow. There are just a lot of parts. There are little hints to tell you what colour to paint things but I think it is missing a bit of detail. But that just means it's more fun to add in your own  A pity your model does not let the bonnet open  is the bonnet a separate piece? You could always just not glue it down if so. This model has spark plug leads included, so no need to get mum's sewing kit out! I would recommend this kit to you - detail to the extreme here. BTW, does anyone have a picture of a stock gear lever mechanism? Like the one in the attached picture?

87000-U0175 Datsun Competition seat
Absolutely fabulous Ben I have one question. Obviously in the Z it is no problem but in the Bluebird you might want the seat to lift up for people to get in/out of the back. Is this possible with the Datsun Bucket? Make sure to take a pic when the seat is installed in your car!!

Z Restoration Progam
Good idea Halz. Of course it might be near impossible to get in contact with the people who were behind the program, but it would be great if someone could find them and they were willing to help. This is an excellent project Chris, I too will be watching from the sideline

That's the one Craig! If it's exactly the same as mine then no, you can't choose to make a "normal" S30 instead. I am taking pictures of the bits as it develops, now that I have finished the suspension it is time to construct the engine! :bandit:

Steering detail
Hi guys, I'm making a model at the moment and I'm trying to make it as accurate and detailed as possible. Only problem is I don't know what half the detail should be I'm using kats' webpage a lot because he has great detailed pictures, but I couldn't find anything on the steering system. Please look at the attached picture of some of the steering components... are there meant to be any markings at all or is it correct being all black? Thankyou for your time

Hi Mikey, my white 240K has the paint code sticker under the bonnet saying "024". I'm not sure if this will help? To post a picture click "Post Reply" at the bottom left of the last message, and then scroll down a bit and click the "Manage Attachments" button. It's pretty straight forward from there, the trick is not to use the "quick reply" feature. BTW I will reply your email soon
