What are you paying for gas?
Sorry - whine, not whinge. Got to get the terminology right!!!!! P.S. did you mean "aren't", not "are aren't"?

What are you paying for gas?
I was simply giving a comparison for some who might be interested to see what the rest of the world is doing (not just THE country, seeing as this is in "Open Discussions", not "Regional Discussions"!).. but I am interested in what you say there - why are petrol prices rising in the USA moreso than other western countries (if this is what you are insinuating)?

where's the no whinging policy!! You guys have it good. Here you'd pay about double that, and in the UK you would pay over that for a LITRE.

?? once again
Z600 or Z360.. 2 cylinder things with a cc relating to the name - they revved up to 9000rpm.. like a motorbike! I was going to buy one at one stage- I think they're awesome. Based on the same chassis and engine as the N360 IIRC?

Sun/targa roof possible?
Better chime in again - brother's has a CA18 but wants an SR20DET swap (I think most Exa owners do). I think it will have to wait a while after this recent woopsy-daisey:

Mistaken identity
A student at my school owned a Z32 while I had my S30 - the Engineering teacher would always call his car a Datsun and mine a Nissan - it really peeved the other kid (he did it on purpose - funny man)

Hummerz.org ?? There's a few that made their way down here, but on some of the roads it'd just be impossible. Good for a desert though.

skyline steering wheel 2
The SWB C110 at least has a wheel similar to the LWB, not like this though. I think this looks too modern for that era, and that little "S" logo was only C210 and later. The C210 is similar but not the same (3 spoke, round centre), and the style looks too old for an R31 - that's why my guess is R30 I tried looking for pics on the net but it's impossible!

skyline steering wheel
Have a search on the boards about the steering wheel situation - at least in the Z's case, the steering wheels were a wooden centre, but then faux wood over the top for a nice finish. It was really very good fake wood though... I don't know for sure about the C110, but I would imagine they would use the same technique for it.

Large White Rectangle
Oh there's the problem! Like Gav said, just something not loading correctly. In the third pic you posted Carl, you can see the problem(s). Some mentioned it was something about the donations box, but here we can see exactly what it is. The first two "button" images aren't loading properly, and so what IE will do is simply display a box with the ALT text (part of the HTML). Since the ALT text is very long, it screws everything up. Two solutions: - Upload those images to our server (seeing as the others load, I assume they're not on the same server) - Shrink the ALT text

Hakosuka on E-Bay
I thought he was talking about the auction car too, but the first pic clearly shows the fender mirrors - I think he was talking about the pic you posted of the car on the highway.

no110
I'm guessing because of the huge amount of metal on the Hardtop's C pillar. Remember the Hardtop still has seats in the back and all - inside it's basically the same as the Sedan (I wonder if there's any less room? Something for us to measure and swap I think). The Hardtop is exactly the same dimensions, except for height (sedan is 1cm higher). In my July 1973 manual it lists the weight as 1170 and 1180 for the sedan and hardtop respectively (add 20kg for automatic trans). Interestingly, in my March 1976 manual it lists the weight as 1200 and 1210. I wonder where the extra 30kg came from? Also, the fuel tank was 55l in 1973 and 60l in 1976, and idle speed was increased from 550-650 (manual) and 650-700 (auto). Just some random facts I think it would be hard to say either was better in the handling department, as the cars are quite front-heavy and perhaps the extra 10kg on the rear helped balance things out? Or perhaps it didn't... who knows...
