I saved the picture And made reference to it in another thread - VERY valuable information here IMHO. Some of the items seemed ambiguous, but I didn't want to hijack the thread.
  2. Oh yes, I've got my set in the car already! This is a spare set - I need to get rid of them because (a) I'm a student and close to broke! and ( motheral hired a mini-skip this week.......
  3. Awesome, thanks for that mate. That makes you proud, but at the same time sad... sad because little did they know at the time, Nissan was obviously trying to get into the racing scene TOO hard. The GTR made the officials rewrite the rules for ATCC so that the entrants were restricted to using lumbering masses of iron - we can't let the JAPANESE win! Love the music btw!
  4. Check out this attachment Alan T posted on another topic: http://www.classiczcars.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=5262 See anything familiar? 2nd row 4th down looks to me like the sidestripe was an option in Japan - noticeably a different pattern to any that have been shown here so far (looks to me like a thick stripe and a thin one above it). Maybe Alan could clarify? FWIW

  8. Just put these up, you won't find them anywhere except Japan, and then you'll be paying more than this (I'm making a loss at this price). http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2487931304
  9. They come in a set of four. Say no more. :devious:
  10. Hi Michael, Awesome - I've always wondered how exactly that would look... As long as youre happy to pay the postage bill I can do that! Send me a PM or email and we'll discuss the details.....
  11. If anyone wants a straight rear panel for a 240K (actually came off a 2000GT) I've got a spare one here that I just can't keep. It's dent-free, but unfortunately pretty rusty. You'd have to sand the whole thing back and maybe fill some of the spots where it's bad metal all the way through. I just thought I'd offer before I throw it in the mini-skip. Be quick though.

AWESOME! They look really good - so good I'm a little confused. Did you get your seats re-covered, or are these covers to go over the top? Because if its the latter, that's a brilliant fit. Were they made for the 240K? How much did they set you back?
  13. ROFL Sorry, that's just brilliant.
  14. Thanks Daniel, I'll try that!
  15. Thankyou for your help Andrew! I'm no Electrician, so a few of those words I didn't get. But I understand (kinda) the concept. I won't be testing out the guage... I wouldnt really know where to start. My guess is the sender's are probably more likely to fail over time, yeah? Is it an easily replaceable item do you know?
  16. No one knows??

ROFL Great story Sean, you'll remember that one!
  18. Wow, what a response. Looks very interesting, with Engineering and IT being at the top as expected... but... Is there a (medical) doctor in the house?!?!!! (isn't it funny, no lawyers either....... or at least, no one who admits it )

Sorry to be asking the obvious but........ What is the purpose of the list? (ie what does it do the site doesnt)

The article says this "Type E" was made to allow the car ot enter the All Japan Grand Touring Championship. Nismo made a copy and you can now buy the bodykit from them... they say. The nose is a Nismo-option. What magazine said it isn't production??

Here's another picture of the Nismo option "G-nose".
  22. Oh I only just put this up a while ago mate. To select more than one item, you gotta select them all at the same time. Sorry, I should have said that before.
  23. Admittedly, Christopher's new acquisition of beauty number 27 inspired me for this topic - what do you guys actually DO for a living? I know a lot of guys here do IT work, but how wide does the cross-section actually go? Me - I am studying a Bachelor in Commerce majoring in management and a Bachelor in IT majoring in Multimedia. I made a poll here - sorry but there were only a max of 15 choices!! You can click multiple boxes if you do more than one thing, and it *says* that teh results are anonymous, so if you don't want us to know, but would like to add to the stats, you can do that!

ROFL 'attaboy. Let's see what he says (if anything!)
  25. Hi guys, I wasn't exactly too sure WHERE to ask this, so I put it in Electrical under 240Z, since I know if I put it under 240K I won't get any responses! I am assuming the petrol guage in the Z is the same as the K. Sorry for any inconveniences if this isn't true... My problem is that when empty, the guage will read just under a quarter full. When full, it will go maybe half way between 3/4 and Full. The latter is not so much of a problem... I'd just like it to be able to tell me when I'm nearing empty a bit more accurately. So the problem has to be in the guage, or the sender unit in the tank, right? I'm putting on my new dash fascia at the moment so now's the time to check the guage. I've attached some pictures in the hope that one of you has knowledge on how these things work, and if in fact my problem lies here. Can anyone help me?
