I was trying to imagine this a while ago.. thanks for the PS, it looks about the right scale. And it looks GREAT (in my opinion). Still think the GT-R ones would look better though...........

S30.. Drifting.. seriously....
Some people just don't get it... I like the analogy of racing is like a running race, whereas drifting comps are like ice skating. It's all about skill in the, dare I say, art!

Japanese Domestic Market
It's quite strange... it seems the rules of the Real Worldâ„¢ don't apply on the Internet. And one last thing.. that '510 with a huge hood scoop' is a GC10 Skyline... convertible! With some very perculiar mods... LINK!

Zs in video games
Tokyo Extreme is a great series, a new one is due to come out soon... and it has a KPGC110 too! GT4 should have one... and Project Gothom 2... the latter has a Toyota 2000GT too!

Were the Works '70-1 GT-Rs ever fuel injected?
Where??? I had the idea the C110's weren't raced officially anywhere.

Geelong Speed Trials
DAMN! Where was I????

Oversteer/Understeer???
...not to mention the drive-type! The Z was sooo easy to 'get the back out' (oversteering), of course I only did it when it was safe :classic: but boy do I miss it... The K with 30 year old suspension, 20 less horses, 300kg more and a slushbox doesn't quite do it the same.............

Why written in english?
Wow, fantastic information and pictures!!! But one thing... Alan, you say that the S30's were badged "Fairlady" in South Africa, however they were sold as Datsuns. Were these cars called "Datsun Fairlady Z" in Africa?????? Obviously information about this market would be very hard to come by... wonder how many Z's there are left in Africa...

Not to mention fuel prices - suddenly those triples dont seem so unecomical anymore... Those septic tanks don't know how good they've got it!

Kats & Dr. Suzuki
Two of the best S30's in the world... from my understanding! Love to see them in real life... it would be like a time-machine, no?

Interior Ergonomics
No, not at all! I was just commenting on your wordiness, trying as hard as you can not to offend anyone. :classic: job well done

A good score?

Interior Ergonomics
Wow, that's some pretty thin ice there... Interesting about the 156... makes you think whether the older LHD Alfas' driving positions were all that bad... probably yes. :stupid:

A good score?
Yep, I get teh same problem! Sucks to be short... Make sure you take some pics as I'm curious to know what exactly it looks like. Ah, I think I have that magazine... tis a pretty good article and gives the K a very nice wrap up! :classic: be sure to scan it though as I'm sure some others might be interested... Good stuff, people like you are why the human race hasn't destroyed itself just yet... Good luck with the EFI swap!

Japanese event pics.
I just finished browsing the whole lot, some truly awesome cars there. I loved the black one with the G-nose, and the silver GC110 of course. Thanks Alan I have also posted some (like 10 ) questions there too if you get time. Fine if you dont, very busy time of year...
