Oh yeah, I tried that game once. However my old computer wouldn't handle it so I had all these graphics glitches which made the game unplayable... I'll get a screenshot up soon.

I've finally got a hold of this old game called "The Real Car Simulator - Nissan Edition". It has a whole bunch of Skylines and Silvias and 300ZX's... and its got a couple of nice bonus cars too - one being a Z432 Fairlady. Anyway, it's a pretty decent game based on the same graphics engine as Gran Turismo 2 and the whole game is only 8 MB. Too bad it's very hard to find in any computer game store... I've never seen it in any shop. Anyway, I can post a screenshot if you'd like... it's quite a trivial yet fun feeling thrashing a Z with a clear concious

Alan, Sorry for the late reply but somehow this thread has avoided me somewhat.. I saw a few old Z's and Skylines in a small article in a magazine and they were selling for around $10,000-$15,000 US....... which I thought was expensive seeing as here you'd buy an almost perfect 240z for around $6000 US. Alas, after seeing how much they're worth in Canada and the UK, Japan doesnt seem so expensive after all You're exactly right with that misconception business. I kinda forgot that some people in Japan are NOT business men who want the fullest and latest of every technological device... I always had the idea that the Z432 was the superhot version and that it would be considerably better performing than a 240z. Is this true or just another misconception I have made up... ? I saw your pictures in the galleries, it's absolutely stunning and the bucket seats are very nostalgic. I like! There's something about black wheels which really does it for me too.

The "I send you this file in order to have your advice" worm is very old... I still receive about 3 a day though eesh But yeah, the more warnings teh better eh?

I have a Pioneer 4x45 in mine but I wouldn't know if it actually fits the stock location as before that there was an Alpine tape deck and I didnt install it myself... Just a couple of Ebay things that looked interesting. First is a 260z parts car. A couple of OLD Datsuns - ie 1939. Really interesting to look at even if you aren't going to buy them... 280Z's were never delivered to NZ, where they? And if so, how come they skipped Australia!!!

Why dont you write a book? I'm serious! I really want a Z432... problem is I'm guessing they'd be VERY hard to find and buy, as Japan isn't into keeping old cars and thus Z's are worth a fortune over there... What is your car? Have you got a webpage or anything about it?

Alan, From october '71 you say? Does this include all RHD countries such as Australia and England? My car is HS...3031 series 2 and it has a 5 speed in it - I always assumed it had been replaced at some stage but when I asked the bloke at teh "Z Workshop" he said all Australian Z's came with a 5 speed. Which implied that even the ones before '71 had them... Would you mind telling me the full story, if you dont mind of course?

wwwwwwwwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa wow... that looks absolutely PRISTINE and whats more, it's got badges! woh hang on... look at a picture of the back end ......... it's got one of the SIDE datsun badges instead of the nice handwriting style datsun badge on the back ?!?! Thats really disappointing... Also, he doesn't have the vents behind the window, yet he has the vertical demisting lines.. is that right? Mmmm... also he has the smokers lighting thing stuck where a switch should be just behind the steering wheel! Is that right?? Maybe teh Canadian model was different? :-/ Woa... the dash is slightly off-black and the bottom DEF lever knob is broken off.. just like mine! It's silver too! But it does look VERY original and very pampered...

No I seriously doubt that they would leave out teh main car. Although, perhaps because it is such a praised car in this game, you have to win a lot of races before it becomes available to drive?... And yes, it is a game for the PS2. I am led to believe it is ALREADY released in Japan. All over the site it says "March 2002" and there is even FAQ which directly addresses problems that may be encountered in the game.

mmmm go to that site, and click on the link to the left of "FAQ". It shows a whole bunch of cars..... but no Z! Wahhhh! There will be about 20 cars to choose from - naturally they're all Japanese cars... apart from a RUF - "black bird" they call it. Also, AV's babelfish translated the silvia as "sill beer" hahahha Asukura is one of the main characters and he drives teh "Z of demon" (or perhaps a better translation could be "Demon Z"). "You say the owner causes accident one after another, the car which is called " the Z of demon ", is obtained accidentally. Of it is visited in the accident, whether many times, but it rides and handles " the Z of demon ". " Z of demon " (NISSAN fair ready Z )" great traslation huh ! Also one of the "rival characters" drives a Z31 !!! I think it's an intro for one of those Japanese Anime cartoons... There is one (could be the same one, but I forgot its name) which is all about: cars, guns and women. Nothing else... hehe It has Vipers, Mustangs and (perhaps?) some rice burners too? Whatever it is, they sure like the Z and that cant be a bad thing!

I guess they would... it's $426 for a 240z being at "market value" - which to them means $5000. My car is worth more than that though but to change my plan I need to get one of their mechanics to look at it to determine what they think its worth. Obviously, I'll have to pay more when I get around to doing that... Its a surprising deal really - I guess its so low because its a classic car.
