  1. Z headers wont fit in early Skylines. However the opposite may not be true! I think they would fit.

Lucky sonofa!! Search the threads here for a start, some really good info has been posted in the past. Make sure to take lots of pictures for us! please!
  3. I remember when this first popped up here on the site. I made a comment about it but the owner loved it! Horses for courses... It had a v8 in it too didn't it? Has it changed a few hands?
  4. Alfadog replied to Mr Camouflage's post in a topic in Australia & NZ
Yes they did. They are 240K hubcaps.

They have interesting styling ... Did you notice the hubcaps?
  6. Great vid Vic Love the sound of that thing.
  7. They don't look like those ones...... In the black plastic "tube" should be a spring. The mirrors only had the hard plastic part but if your mirrors are off a later car who knows what other gaskets and things they had aswell! It would make sense to protect the paintwork from scratches/rust.

Portugal! Looks to be in a pretty nice collection I wonder how much it'll go for.
  9. Awesome to see this finally getting off the ground. Just registered
  10. Can't really tell what they're from from the pictures but look a little square to be C110 ones. When funky offered me a service he was charging a fair bit of commission (not that I think there's anything wrong with that), but of course he might not charge you anything due to your involvement with SAU. Or just get a middleman service and pay the commission. It's really not that much.
  11. That green looks sensational biker! Good choice. Personally I am not a fan of the "GT40" stripes on a Z. It's a really personal thing I think. I hope it's just my eye, or the picture, but the stripes on the bonnet don't look straight? :tapemouth

Its name shall not be uttered amongst this company.
  13. Spend the extra on Kyosho. It's worth it. Curtis, I do not think they are still in production but some model shops may still have one. Or try ebay. Has anybody seen the Jada cars in shops in Aus? Or is ebay the only way.
  14. Hey Mikey, I still have that front bumper for ya. Unfortunately it's at home on the Gold Coast. I'm in Melbourne now. Due to length it'll cost a fair bit to ship over... but let me know if you are ready for it and I will see if I can get someone to organise it to be sent.
  15. Is there a way to tell by eye that they are GT-R mags, and not painted GTS ones?

Aw, I missed all the fun. I wish Brian all the best with this car. By the way Alan, Ray is in Japan at the moment and I hear he is bringing back an S20 engine to put in his Prince... Or maybe the Japanese won't let him take it out of the country.

I'd buy it for what it's worth though.

  19. Welcome to the club Chris! Would love to see more pictures of this car.

You're probably right Stephen, thanks for chiming in! I believe the "Datsun 510" (1977-1981) was sold here as a "Datsun Stanza". This is where my mistake came from. I think it was called Violet in Japan then, as well as the Auster spinoff. Also it was called Violet in Europe I think! Do you know if a "Stanza" model was available in Japan for this model (1977-1981)? Because that would make it much more fun

You've been buying a lot of treats lately haven't you! Excellent Z432 pictures! Those clocks are weird. I think Nissan must have made them or something, as I've also seen a C110 and a C210 one in similar style with the prototype sketch. By the way the Auster was a real car, based on the Stanza.
