  1. Sili-Kroil & a B(er)FH you can get Sili-Kroil through www.kanolabs.com (PB Blaster is good (stinks though), but Sili-Kroil is better IMO)
  2. Here's thge message he sent me. (I don't think he'll mind me sharing it) I couldnt access http://www.datsunprojects.org/forsale either...not with any computer on the 'rogers' network (biggest ISP in Canada), so I went to: http://proxify.com/ its an anonymous proxy server thing, but I plug in the URL there, and now I can get to datsunprojects. Try it out it should work for anyone...

    Local to Where?
  4. Zak: Thanks man. It worked like a charm. Now I can see the list. With my luck the parts I could use have been sold, but at least now I know what to do next time I have this issue. Thanks again! Garth

I doubt that MSA would send a used part without the customer (in this case your "resto" shop) indicating a willingness to accept such a part.
  6. Woa, I'm dizzy. Must be exhaust fumes in MY garage. I better go outside for some fresh air. Lance, I really didn't mean to jump him. Everyone is new to something at some point. I'm still new here as well.
  7. Tell me what was so rude about my comments. I asked a civil question, and I explained why the question was asked. He would never know if no one told him. That he took offense is his problem, he could have taken it constructively but chose not to. You are the one personalizing this by name calling. Get a grip, go back out in the garage and breathe some exhaust fumes. You'll feel better. I know I will.

    pretty cool
  9. Lance: If you had made an effort to educate him, no one else would have needed to. Since you didn't, I did. That shouldn't be a problem for either you or =Enima= had all of the threads been in one forum (posted 1 minute apart) nothing would have been said. It would have been obvious that an error had occured somehow. ps which leg do you want broken? (it's a joke so chill, OK?)
  10. No, it's spamming. Normally, if the moderators saw this they would delete all but one thread. Tell me, how many different opinions did you get?
  11. that is considered SPAMMING
  12. I'm curious, why create 3 threads to ask one question? http://www.classiczcars.com/forums/showthread.php?p=148352#post148352 http://www.classiczcars.com/forums/showthread.php?p=148353#post148353 http://www.classiczcars.com/forums/showthread.php?p=148359#post148359

  16. http://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalog/eppages/interrupterpump.php I'm running pn # 480545. Mounts in stock location. Quiet enough for me. Cheap enough too.
  17. I'd say so! If they are available for that price, I can't imagine why anyone would go through the hassle of rebuilding H/S themselves. By the time you buy ujoints and new boots, you would have almost $40 into parts for each, then value of your time........fo'getaboutit! I've done it before and it's a PITA.
  18. 20W: Reading the instructions on the can will describe where to add the product. However, I guess you are right, some people might not know how to read or how to tip a can and aim the contents into a funnel. But, if that is the case, perhaps this job is beyond their capabilities. signed, 100W How Many Mechanics Use SEA FOAM In Tune-Up of 4 Cycle Gasoline Carbureted or Fuel Injected Engines Autos, Trucks, and Tractors 1. With engine warm, slowly pour 1/3 to 1/2 pint through carburetor or throttle body throat. (If vehicle is port injected slowly pour SEA FOAM through direct manifold vacuum line that will feed all cylinders, possible sources are P.C.V. valve or brake booster line.) This will pull SEA FOAM down on top of the pistons and to the back of the intake valves to dissolve carbon. Turn ignition off. Restart engine after 5 minutes. If severe carbon build up is apparent, use more Sea Foam as previously directed. Make sure exhaust is well ventilated when using Sea Foam in these various ways as fumes will be extreme for a short time. 2.Pour 1/3 to 1/2 pint into oil crank case to clean rings, lifters, dirty parts and remove moisture. 3.
