  1. You can add some aluminum bracing to stiffen the air dam up in th center and at the front corners and ahead of the wheel wells and it will not deform.
  2. When an idiot made a left turn in front of me and I had to clip his right rear because I wasn't leaving my lane (cars behind him in left turn lane), they tried to total my ''83 ZXT. I keep all invoices/maintenance records and inundated the adjuster with many faxes. They wound up replacing right front fender, hood, radiator support, right front headlight- Cibie - and bucket and of course paint. I kept stating to the adjuster - "you owe me what I had - nothing more, nothing less". A few times I stated "Find me another in this good shape and buy it for me and you can have this one, but it better be at least this good". This system works well when you are dealing with the other person's (at fault) insurance company - they are eager to settle before you find out you have injuries that don't surface right away...
  3. I originally answered a post on Hybrid Z saying to use dry ice along with a needle scaler attachment on an air chisel (available from Harbor Freight. or Northern Tool) This was over two years ago. I just wanted to let ya'll know that a needle scaler in conjunction w/dry ice makes it a very easy job....

Cramped? - you must be talking about the interior - right? The V8 fits like it belongs in there. You are limited in header selection if you use the 'setback' mounting instead of the Scarab type mounts.

Someone I have a great deal of respect for used to use POR 15 and now uses Zero Rust - even on his own projects. The only time he uses POR is if the customer insists...

I have heard that the Arizona Z manifold is the only one that works well, and a very knowledgeable Z club member has had one on his car for quite a while and tears a lot of other near equivalently modified cars up. You may want to search HybridZ for info on this - I think that's where I saw it.

If you were to state what you power expectations are, you might get a better answer... The Conquest/Starion intercooler is not that great. NPR is better.
  9. You DID get glack bushings didn't you? These are the only ones w/graphite in them...
  10. You can get a can of Seafoam, put 1/2 in the gas, and pour the rest ahead of the throttle body with the engine around 3000 rpm (warning - will produce smoke!). This should clean the fuel system out.
  11. I'd rather have a G-Nose...
  12. Check the TPS connection - Throttle Position Switch...
  13. JMHO, but 7" is a little narrow for 225/50 for ultimate handling. If autocrossing, 205/55's would probably work better...
