Trouble finding rims
I had the rims and 215 tires put on yesterday. Man, it looks sweet. What a difference. It was the Outlaw II that I put on. I promise to post a pic this weekend. Thanks for the help everyone.

Any experience with BFG Radial T/As????
Has anyone ran 215/60/14 on a stock 240Z. I am going to put these tires on a new set of 14x7 rims with 4" backspacing. I want to make sure these will work and not leave a huge wheel well gap

Trouble finding rims
I purchased the 14x7 American racing outlaw rims today, should have them by Friday. I have two tire options, I can put my current 185/75/14 tires on these rims, or I can swap with another vehicle I am going to sell, it has 215/60/14 tires, brand new Cooper cobras. Will this leave to much of a wheel well gap, and will it stick out of the wheel wells at all. The suspension is all stock and no fender flares. Any help is appreciated.

Trouble finding rims
Will a 14x7 with 4" backspacing fit on my stock 73, or should I go up to 15x7. Problem is my 14" tires are still good. I am looking at the American Racing outlaw series. Could I run a larger(wider) tire on the rear and stay under the wheel wells. I currently run 185/75/14 all the way around. My other option is to try and have my stock mags polished and the curb rash fixed, but I want something different. No offense anyone.

Trouble finding rims
I looked at your gallery. Nice car. What size are the rims, tires. Also is the car lowered. I would like to put those same rims on my 240Z

Fuel vapor tank
This was the current state of the lines when I aquired the car. I know that one will conect to the block at the same conector as the PCV, where does the other go? I am running the Weber conversion with K&N filters.

Fuel vapor tank
PVC is hooked up, but the vacuum lines to and from the valve connected to the fuel tank are disconnected, also the EGR vavlve is disconnected but still present. I bought a new rear fuel filter today from Motorsport, hopefully that might be the problem, also ned to replace the ponts. Will keep everyone updated.

Fuel vapor tank
I have the line from the tank to the valve on the drivers side under the resistor connected, but the one that connects to the PCV line at the block, and the one that connects to the stock air cleaner are disconected. Is this advisable? I am running duel Webers. Would this be the cause of surging or fuel starvation at high speeds, 75-80. Anything under that speed the cars cruises fine.

Broken bolt in a BAD place!
A recent exhaust manifold gasket replacement yielded two broken studs for me. What a pain. One broken ez-out(makes you wonder about that name!) later, I had to drill out the head and tap a larger thread, which I hope will hold (lots of thread lock!) If the leak returns, I guess a new head is my only alternative, or maybe that V-8 conversion would finally be justified!

Loss of power after high speed run
Thanks. I just put the Z in the paint shop today, then I need to have the seats redone. Once I get it back I will give it a try.

Loss of power after high speed run
I am also getting a tick from the top end, I guess it is time to attempt my first valve adjustment. Any tips?

Loss of power after high speed run
I just had a similar problem with my 73 240Z. The car was running great, then after a high speed freeway run, it start to surge and idle very poorly and sickly sounding. I replaced both fuel filters, nothing. The adjusted carbs(dual webers) nothing. Finally replaced the cap and rotor, and have not had a problem since. Even though they did not look worn or damaged, they were the cause.
