  1. Welcome to the group! I have an 89 S13 daily driver with minor mods. Great little car. I wish you the best of luck finding a Z that suits you. Chris 72 240Z in storage 73 240Z in storage 73 240Z (my avatar, my baby) 89 240SX 00 Xterra

I second Jim's thoughts about Skylines. I absolutely love them all and welcome the pictures and discussions about them on this site. I'd give up my Z for a Skyline in a second. Beautiful cars you guys! Keep the pics coming. Chris

  4. You're welcome. I've drooled over this for about 2 years now. Just dont like messing up systems that already work. I have the 4 row radiator in mine now and she runs cool even when its over 100. 165 degree thermostat helps in Nebraska summers. Chris
  5. Oooooohhhhh, another 4 barrell. Bet she's a great runner too. Chris
  6. Hi Lance, he's installing a replacement for the belt driven pump. He'd have to add an electric fan as well. Here's a link.....http://www.csr-performance.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=SC&Category_Code=N_WP Chris
  7. Ty, The manifold's are not normally interchangeable. Different shaped ports could lead to massive exhaust gas leaks. Granted you could potentially drive the car with a L24 manifold on an L28 but you will not have any luck getting the L24 downpipe attached to the L28 manifold. The angles are not quite the same where the downpipe attaches to the 3 bolt flange. Trust me on this as I've done the swap myself. When I did this swap years ago, I bought a L28 downpipe from Victoria British, then had the exhaust shop connect it to the stock L24 exhaust system. Cheap yet effective. You really have no good options aside from getting the correct combination of parts. Chris

Yeah, where we live they just get picked up by a twister and hurled into another county. I'll pass on both please. Chris

Hi Ed, it appears you have some kind of switches in the emblem just ahead of the ashtray. Is that the case? Can you elaborate for me? I have a 73 and its completely flat there like the other pictures in this thread. Thanks, Chris

Along these same lines, if you happen to own any precision measuring devices, like micrometers, calipers, depth gauges etc. You should never put them away in their cases with the jaws closed together. Always leave a small gap between the jaws. It throws their calibration off as well. Learned this years ago from my Grandpa who was a machinist. FWIW, Chris
  12. Hi Will, I've got enough diapers of my own thanks!! Sorry again about the clock! :cheeky: Chris
  13. Boy, I cant decide if I want to bid or not. Part of me really wants the custom center console. Never seen one quite like it before. :stupid: Bet she's a runner to with that 4 barrell. Chris

I'm not arguing with you Jeff, just saying that the ebayer thinks its for a 240Z because the sticker says so. He believes everything he reads! Chris
  17. ChrisA replied to hls30.com's post in a topic in Open Chit Chat
You have to admit though, the sticker does say 240Z even though we all know it wont fit a 240Z without metal work. Chris

Well, let me see, here is the entire Group 6 grid from Road America's site and it lists every car. All listed as DNS (did not start) due to red flag at start of race and race not restarted. I don't seem to see an AMX in this list. Do any of you? Looks to be car #86 driven by Bruce Leven which as stated is a Corvette. Sorry to rain on the AMX parade. If you look at ALL the pics of this car you'll notice the funky hood in one pic, and the curvature of the door sill is classic Corvette. Chris
