  1. These symptoms points more in the direction of the black box attached to the side of your distributor. I would first test and or replace this part before messing with the AFM. Also the dropping resistor will get hot in a short period of time.

  3. I found orange paint on top of the primer coat, looks to be original, after I sanded off 3 layers of aftermarket colors on my 8/71 240.

    The turbo AFM has a 3inch opening/60mm while the N/A's are about 2 1/2.

    Check to see if you have the gas feed and return hoses on correctly. I've done this before putting it back together at night:stupid: me
  6. The turbo injector have a higher rate of flow, so you can't mix and match with the N/A injectors. If you want to run the turbo injectors you can use the turbo AFM with the guts of your N/A installed. As you have it now you run the risk of running lean in the one cylinder with the N/A injector- this of course will happen if you try adjusting the stock AFM to compensate for the higher flow injectors.
