I did search, and im just wondering, whats the best way to make cuts into my console? and the adapters are differnent for the Z, I have the right plug but i'll need to cut and attach it to the Z plug, is this ok? any tips?!?!

Yes, you can tell by the code on the radiator, true black pearl=638. I Emailed NISMO a couple days ago....no reply.....damnit, where can i get a stripe kit?!?!

Im doing absolutly everything on my own, no shop work. Although i am getting help from some pro's. I am doing the bodywork as we speak, now all i need to do is get my hands on a welder and ill be set. I wont be adding a L28ET for a while.

This is actually very agrivating! i cant really afford a full oem restoration.....and i really wanted a Turbocharged 280Z......I think a Turbocharged Black Pearl would be cool, but i guess that would make it a normal plain old 280Z.

I can get EVERYTHING OEM, but the pinstriping is all gone! if i get the paint exactly black pearl and i get a custom pinstriping to the exact original, will it be a BP? how rare are they exactly?

Hey guys, the color code on my car matches the black pearls, and it HAD the same pinstripes! i got it for $450, Not bad huh? so how rare are they? i want to put a l28ET in my car later, and some other performence parts but i dont want to deface it if its really rare. Im of course going to repaint it pearl black though.

I just got back from my car so, heres what its like: The hole in the floor is actually a bit bigger than a fist, their is two holes, the other one is closer to the front and its alot smaller. The passenger side has no rust at all, and the floor pan is holding out very stong just in front of the rails and up a bit, their are two more small holes. I think i can get this all welded, but 1: i dont have a welder 2: i dont know how to weld. I can solve these problems. i also smashed all of the rusty areas out, and im going to cut more out with a torch in a bit. So what do you guys think?

Hey guys, i would like to paint my underbody black when i am finished welding the hole in it. I cant seem to find any threads about painting it. Do i use the same procedure as painting the panels? what do i use as a finish when im done? Thanks.

Hey guys, i was just checking and chisling all of my underbody rust out, i checked everwhere and my passenger side floor panel busted open when i hit it! i can see the thing that goes below the carpet, the hole is about as big as a fist. I got all of the rust and weak areas out, so what do i do now? how should i fix it??

I tryed using spray on stripper, but it sucks. Any ways, i should use a sand paper disk? what grit? im looking to get off all the coats.
