  1. Pics of the SU carbs, and the exhaust. Exhaust header is a 6-into-2 style with square ports and no injection ports (smog). I also have a 2nd header that is a 6-into-2 style (square ports) w/ injection ports and ends in a 2-1/2" collector: $75
  2. $30 for the wiper motor + shipping (should be around $15) Sale pending on radiator and SU's....
  3. I will try to have some pictures up soon, but here is a small list of what I have for sale: SOLD (1) 2-1/4" custom built exhaust from the 6-2 headers all the way to the chrome exhaust tip, w/ generic turbo muffler. Has a mellow throaty sound coming in at about 3k rpm. Complete system can is broken down into 3 sections: header, center pipe, rear section w/ muffler. SOLD (1) 3-row radiator not used more than about 8 months. Very clean. (2) late model 240 fuse blocks (short pigtails). Unmelted w/ covers. One cover needs a new holding pin. (1) starter. Pulled from a running '73 240. SOLD (1) set SU carbs from a '72 240. Includes intake and balance tube. No heat shield. Were pulled from a running car less than a year ago. (2) points distributors. One is single-point, other is dual-point. Single point has a little play in the shaft, but just barely. (1) voltage regulator from '73 PENDING (1) windshield wiper motor from '73 (2) fuse panel console covers for '73 (house the defrost switch, & choke light) There are a few other little misc. stuff including some used brake calipers. I will entertain individual offers for each item or will take a lump sum for the whole lot. If items need to be shipped, that can be arranged. Shipping prices will have to be discussed. I've just been cleaning out the garage and need to get rid of this stuff.
  4. This engine is still available. Someone please come get this thing out my garage before I have to throw it away.
  5. Well, I have two willing neighbor kids that will help hoist it up. And it looks like I'll be loading up your truck with a Z engine.
  6. Sorry, I guess I should have clarified again. Carbs, intake, and exhaust header are not included. But....If you do want them, I will make you a deal.
  7. Sounds like a plan. I'll start verifying what the shipping will be. By bus it shouldn't be too much to Arkansas. I'll let you know. Too bad I'm not heading to Mom's house for Christmas. She lives in Longview. It's just a short jump from you.
  8. Yes. I've attached a picture. I still need to switch out the engine stands, but what you see in the picture is what you get. I also have a distributor for it.
  9. Still for sale. I actually have two of these. All offers considered.
  10. Engine was pulled from a running '73 rust-bucket. No carbs, intake, or exhaust included. I have the thermostat housing, but the bolts are broken (not in the head). Does included alternator, fuel pump, water pump and fan. I'll even throw in an extra engine stand! Previous owner of '73 claimed it was rebuilt. I only know that it ran and had no noticeable issues. Local pick up only, I can not ship it. $50 or best offer. This must be out of my garage before mid January or I'll be forced to throw it away...
  11. I know someone out there needs an extra set of wheels for Christmas....
  12. Anybody looking? For what it's worth...I have this same radiator in my car and have gained a minimum of 5 degrees cooler while racing. It does make a difference.
  13. Build date - 1/71 (Series I) - HLS30 18684 (This is my car) Build date - 2/72 (Series II) - HLS30 23322 (recently sold and moving to FL) EDIT: "It would be interesting to see where these Z's have migrated to." As irony would have it, my 240 was originally purchased in FL and then moved to TX (to stay). The other 240 I currently have was purchased in OK and is now moving to FL. Sort of like switching places.
  14. http://www.classiczcars.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1770 This accident happened over 3-1/2 years ago by another member on this board (not sure if he's still around now, though). He rolled his Z and walked away. It's a shame the pics are no longer with the thread. They clearly showed the strength of the roof in these cars. It was amazing to see how intact the roof line was after this accident.
  15. I have a 3-row radiator for sale. This radiator was bought brand new for a friends 240Z. It was in the car for less than 6 months. It's still bright and shiney. It does have a few bent fins, but nothing damaging. It is very clean on the inside and has line connections for an automatic car. If you need a replacement radiator for your 280Z or are looking to upgrade to better cooling for your 240 or 260, this is it. $75 + $45 shipping.
  16. For sale - Set of (4) Turbine style wheels. 14 x 7 Two of the wheels have minor curb rash on the outer edges. Spaces between turbine "blades" have been painted black (not sure if this was original or not). With no tires, these wheels look huge in width! Will accomodate a 235 series tire! I have three of the center caps for these wheels. $125, obo. I would prefer local pick up in San Antonio, Tx, but can arrange shipping. Shipment by Greyhound bus should be about $80, but I will have to confirm that.
  17. For Sale: Set of (4) of 5-slot mags. 14x5. These were the original dealer option wheels available for the early Z's. Theses have been polished and look great. Two of the wheels have small blemishes on some of the edges, but they don't show up unless you're looking closely at the wheel. These are shown in the pictures. I do not have center caps for these wheels. $150, obo. I would prefer local pickup in San Antonio, Tx, but shipping can be arranged. Shipment by Greyhound bus should be around $80 for the set, I'll have to confirm that though.
  18. Anybody have any interest in an original European Spec Dual-Point distributor? It came in a box of parts I received and is complete minus plug wire cap. Has vacuum advance, both points (+ one extra, brand new point), and complete distributor body. Does not have any play in bushings. Solid unit. Asking $75, including shipping.
  19. I have an early Fuse block for sale if anyone is interested. Short pigtails. No melting. This thing looks brand new. It's currently listed on Ebay and in the Classified's here. http://www.classiczcars.com/classifieds/showproduct.php?product=825&sort=1&cat=7&page=1
  20. Just got a used Petronix setup with a parts distributor. Want to try and find someone that still has their installation instructions to see if they can scan them and email them for me. Anybody?
  21. WHAT!?! You getting rid of your Z's? Have you lost your mind? I know I almost lost mine back in July,.... C'mon man! Get your head on straight.
  22. Well, it seems a few rays of sunshine have fallen through to my recently miserable week of late. Between losing my job (2nd time in six months), blowing tires on my truck I don't have money for, the thought of selling my car, and food poisoning on the 4th, I finally have a bit of good news. After some hard soul-searching, long discussions with the wife, my daughter crying over the thought of it all, and a little financial wizardry, I have decided to keep my Z after all. Not much will get done in the next few months while we get some issues straightened out, but at least it will be staying at home. My apologies to those that were seriously interested. (You all made me feel like I was not asking enough.) I do appreciate all the kind words and thoughts.
  23. As I need to reinstall the interior (removed for foam injection), I cannot send any pictures of the interior as of yet. I will try to get the interior put back in by this weekend. Then I'll see about posting some more pictures. One thing I forgot to mention earlier, the brake booster has a vacuum leak in it. Car still brakes fine, but it requires just a little more effort than normal. I have a replacement booster for it, but have not installed (never enough time). I can install it if someone so desires.
