  1. If you have fabrication skills you just have to fabricate the turbo manifold and weld up the plumbing or if you have the money to spend, pay someone to do it. The low boost thing is only when getting a basic tune. Once the car is tuned, there is no reason why you can't turn up the boost (assuming all the other systems are up for the task). pictures of a twin turbo setup just for kicks :classic:

Did you get the one that was on craigslist? Looks like a good start. South Bay Driveline can probably shorten the driveshaft for you. They're right in back of the HP pavillion. If you haven't already, maybe you should pick up a JTR conversion manual. It's a good reference to have.

Scored my '73 L24 the other day for $25. The week before I almost bought a '73 parts car for $150. Both found on craigslist :classic:
  4. It's called putting your soul into the music. If something means so much to you, why would you sing it vanilla with no emotion or feeling. Good singers are artists. You can't expect an artist to not put their emotions into their work.

Depends how much boost your running. Stock ZXT specs is around 150whp at stock boost? You're probably slightly over that with the 3" open exhaust. Go with a 3.54 diff when you do the swap. You will be much happier.
  6. I was there all three days. Much easier to get around than last year. More action on the track and there was even a Paul Tracy fight

I can do the conversion for you if you're interested. I wouldn't try to sell any, I would just like a copy for myself.

SR240Z - Nice gauges. How much did those set you back and where did you get them?

Congrats on the wheels. I scored my wats on ebay late last year after searching for a deal for at least 2 years. I got the exact style I was looking for too. The 2-piece RS-8s. 15x7 Black centers with polished lip. I'd only sell them if I came across a set of the same style in 16" or 15x9s.

I don't think it has a BOV from the factory but I think you can hold off on it until you swap out the J-pipe with a intercooler. Then you can plumb the BOV anywhere before the throttle body and tee off any vacuum line on the intake manifold. If you really wanted to, you could figure out a way to mount one on the J-pipe but you have to recirculate it back to the intake or your car will run rich between shifts and will stall.
  18. I also remember reading that at one time SSR bought out RS Watanabe. My RS-8s also has both the three birds and SSR markings. It also came with crome SSR caps.

If you do swap to the 60mm throttle body, you will need to open up the intake manifold to match the throttle body. You should have a good exhaust system too.
