Nice low mileage '78 on Ebay
- You guys North of me won't be happy...
Nice cars for sure. Too bad I still have nearly three feet of snow in my yard.- What did you find under your seat?
Uh Cool. Isnt it nice how some cars have those little hidey holes? My 66 Impala had a great one right under the horn button. Came in handy back in the 70's. Of course Im sure you disposed of the contraband properly! being that this is the "drug free" 21st century.- What did you find under your seat?
Hah that's such a perfect relic out of a 70's sports car. What no mexican pot, complete with seeds?- Do you think your car had Led Zeppilin played in it?
Those were the dancin' daze! It's crazy thinking that an 18 year old groovin to Zep in summer of 72 is now at least 53 years old!- Do you think your car had Led Zeppilin played in it?
Yeah I noticed I mis-spelled it as soon as I posted, tried to edit it right away but you can't edit the title. So solly,as least I didn't spell it Lead Zeppelin!- Do you think your car had Led Zeppilin played in it?
OK Zep has just finished as of this afternoon USA time)it's first show together since 1980. Just imagine how much Led Zeppelin may have payed on the radio or tape deck in your Z back in the day. Lets see my car is an early 71, so the fourth album hadn't been released yet, but I can imagine some Zep must have made it onto it's AM radio. Communication Breakdown maybe ?? Whole Lotta love? As far as rock goes , if your car IS A 240-280z it must have had some Zep played on board during the era! OK maybe I'm being too nostalgic. I'll go away now.- Aside from Zs, what else takes your money?
Gasoline, Guitar stirngs (already have enough gear), Microbrews!(Obsidian Stout!!) Chickenfeed (and supplies) Plus whatever the wife needs now!!! At least I have the Z's!- Motive Mag Photo Shoot
Yay Marty, way to go with the mag article! Your car looks incredible in the article shots. Your blue paint looks somewhat darker than the original color? Anyway interior looks great as well. Remind what your suspension set up is on this car? Is this the one with the tockico blues? Which springs are on this car?- 1971 240Z in Collectible Auotmobile Magizone this month
Think that.40 overbore adds much power to the L-24?- She's gotta go :(
You never know, the Ford truck around here might bring more intererst than you think, given that just about every one around here drives one. Your Z looks pretty good, but around these parts I think the Z is pearls before swine,(at least in most cases). Although I see why you'd want to keep the 4 wheel drive in this part of the country.- She's gotta go :(
Hey Rockr, are you familiar with something called "rural resources" or something like that in Newport? They may have a lead on something for you in terms of a job or assistance. Its somewhere on the main drag there (the one way headed north). Any chance you could sell some of your music gear instead? Or would that put you in a pinch for making more money? Will you be getting unemployment?- What's wrong with US Senate?
Unless it came from hydro-power, as does most of our in the pacific northwest.- Who has a 77 280z
Do you like to impress people by being a total ****?- What's wrong with US Senate?
This whole thread is BS. If you want to divide this group, go ahead and keep it going.Im here to talk Z cars. If you want to alienate half the club keep talking $^!# about one political party.- Do people notice you in your classic Z on the road?
This is a follow up to my post about seeing 240-Z's on the road. Many folks mentioned getting lots of attention from others on the road when their in their Z. Plus the oft quoted line in most ebay sales that "this car turns heads". I think it may depend on where you live. In the Spokane area, I rarely get any attention at all! Sometimes I even watch other drivers as they go by on the roads to see if they are looking. But that does not seem to be the case. This seems to be US made muscle car territory as far as enthusiasts go. When someone does wave or notice the car when Im getting gas, it really makes my day, but it has only happened a handful of times in the last few years. It does seem like more younger folks notice,.maybe because they have hardly ever seen a 240-Z before.- How often do you see 240-Z's on the road?
Obviously a lot less than you used to. Yesterday I took a cruise in my 71 , and was delighted to see two different 240's on the road. Both drivers gave me a big wave, one guy in an orange car, gave me the "peace" sign , the other, a silver one, the guy gave me a thumbs up. I thought I could pretty much tell you all the 240's in my area, but I hadn't seen either of these cars before. Normally you could drive around here for months without seeing a 240-Z. Reminded me of when I used to own a VW bus. It's like a secret society, other bus owners always wave at you.- Do It In A Datsun
A girl of all mens dreams, YES!- '71 that was on Craigs list now on Ebay
I wonder if Les has blue door panels? I think MSA has repro panels, but they don't have the chrome strip.- Datsun powered helicopter!
Check out this link: http://www.flickr.com/photos/osgo/1282178307/in/set-72157601775567888/- My freshly painted Z....
Hey that IS a great looking silver for sure! Nice!- Anyone here drive thier Z during the Winter ?
- Classic Z Car Club licence plate frames?
Yeah I would vote for any of the Nissan/Datsun slogans. - You guys North of me won't be happy...
