My dam zed was supposed to be finished in December!! :stupid: I'm getting so frustrated. Stupid engine conversion... I would love to be there, I doubt my zed will be finished in time. *IF ANYONE CAN FIND ME THE FRONT SECTION OF A 240Z HARNESS I WOULD BE SO HAPPY...also the wiring going into the ignition switch.* But yeah, If someone has this, and could sell it to me it would hasten my progress immensely and I might be able to bring the zed down! I'm kinda stuck atm... sorry to add that in to this thread but it's related.. kinda, thanks.

Where are they made? Korea? Taiwan? I don't understand... I'm pretty sure it is made in an asian country, and if so.. yeah it would be, in theory cheaper to get them over here than the u.s. :surprised

yeah, i can see that aswell.. I'm in the process of getting someone to try and duplicate the design, see how much he quotes me for it.. Otherwise, yeh.. Ozzy Tyres, but for $1100 for four brand new rims... its not a bad price either way

hi there, no friends in the u.s.... is there no way of gettting from a supply in asia? i rang about 10 wheel companies, wth the same response of, 'konig whats?'.. if we can get cheaper with two of us, rather than two separaye deliveries that would be great. give me a yell on whats happenning. Sean

Gday all, I'm after a set of Konig Rewinds 15 x 7, for my rb 71 240z, here in Perth and have had no luck finding anyone here that supplies them. Or 2nd hand. If anyone could help me out with this dilemma it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys, Sean

Remember you posting something about wanting build numbers of 1st gen's? mine's HS30 #692 ' 71 240z.. Build Date: 4/71 No.# 00692 Engine Number: L24 - 031844 Car NO. HS30 - 00692 Black Interior, was missing gearbox, engine and most interior when I bought it. Have the original seats, non original paint, think it was orange. not sure though What other info do you need? Sean

Hey all, I live in perth, australia and have had no luck finding a 240z console off a '71. I've called up a few fibreglass fabricators and they tell me I'm gonna need the dimensions of it, for them to be able to make one up for me. Is there anyone here that could retrieve these for me? it'd be greatly appreciated. Thanks again, Sean

No, no engine mount kits, you can use the mounts off a 200ZR (Z31 with RB20) but i'll just be shortening the RB mounts.. as the engine is too high (hits hood) I will be using the RB20DET front cut, the gearbox fits straight into the 240's driveshaft w/ out modification. the sump needs to be reversed and modified, and the crossmember adapted, two holes instead of on. Front cut here in Perth AUS$2100 (engine, g/box, engine loom etc) sump $200 (person I bought the car off is a prof. welder ) mounts $200 max Engine wired for $300 have to buy intercooler, piping, boost guage Overall i'd say around $4000 for the swap. but then you're going to need better brakes, diff etc.. gonna go for an LSD 4.3 long nose and just get a pair of hilux calipers for now.

Yeahh I'm putting an RB20DET into it, maybe the one in my gallery, it's in japan... Bought the car with no gearbox, engine, carpets, door faces, centre console. It's got a restored dash, and a front spoiler. NO RUST that was my main priority.
