  1. I've got a couple. 1. US 12 between Lolo Montana and Lewiston Idaho. 100+ miles of curves and gorgeous scenery. 2. US 191 between Jackson, Wyoming and Grants Village in Yellowstone. The Tetons and the Rockefeller Highway are breathtaking. 3. The Going-to-the Sun highway between lake McDonald Lodge and St Mary's Montana is another killer drive for the scenery. (Know the enemy, if you get a ticket in Glacier, Grand Teton, or Yellowstone it's a Federal offense. These roads can also be clogged with RV's and wildlife induced traffic jams, adding to the "experience". There's still a lot of fun to have because once you pass one park ranger on these stretches, your done seeing them.) 4. US 550 between Durango and Silverton Colorado. Make sure your Z can hack the altitude here, and in Wyoming.

Most folks I've met feel the two seater is more desirable for performance purposes and as a collectable. Don't buy the first thing you come across either. There are more out there, and a club may be able to help put you in contact with numerous folks who have zed's to sell.

Keep looking. I've got to believe you can find a car in better shape for the same amount or more money. Don't look at the base price of the car, look at how much you'll have to put into it to get it the way you want it. That's the true cost of the car. The closer the car is initially to what you want, the better off you are in the long run.
  4. I'm looking at replacing the stock ignition system on my '73 and am pondering a Euro system, Mallory/MSD, or a setup from a 280. Any experiences/horror stories you want to share would be appreciated.
  5. Thanks fellas, I appreciate the feedback.
  6. I'm looking to replace the fusebox in my '73 with a new one and the Motorsport upgrade/replacement boxes look like a good deal. Does anyone have any experience with how well they do or don't work and ease of installation? Thanks

So how does it work? Are you happy with it's performance? I'm trying to figure out whether or not to go with the MSD setup, the Euro distributor, or a 260-280Z distributor.
