  1. Don't be surprised if the listing gets canceled. I think its against ebay policy to have optional extras like that.
  2. It was me. I did the ikky. Here's a nice pictorial of Z fenders for reference. http://www.showcars-bodyparts.com/240z.html Though I hear that you are better off purchasing from msa, instead of the link above.
  3. They are usually to suppress RF interference so you don't get that annoying buzz through the radio. Not sure if that has anything to do with tach bouncing.
  4. They made a Paul Newman version Skyline, does that count?
  5. Austpost still do sea mail. It's the economy air mail they did away with.
  6. There was a factory alloy for the 260Z. Don't know if you got them in the US though.
  7. They are spring mounted, so you shouldn't bend any metal.
  8. It'll end up in a container bound for Kuwait
  9. Looks like someone replaced the original electric fuel pump with that smaller one.
  10. If your talking about swapping the lsd diff center over then yes I believe it will fit. You'll have to use the crown wheel from the longnose R200 on the kaaz lsd. Finding half shafts with the correct splines may be an issue. I know people have swapped short nose skyline LSD centers into long nose housings before. Other issue you may have is the crown wheel bolt hole diameter difference, which can be overcome with the use of spacers. Your better off asking this sort of question on an Aussie forum, as we have heaps of skylines which makes this type of swap alot more common than the USA. Here's some homework reading for you (page 2 is where it starts to get interesting): http://www.ozdat.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4034
  11. Yes they do have 5 digit vins. Surely this is just the earliest HLS30 vin sold, not necessarily the first 240Z sold. They weren't sold in Vin order now were they? What if the first person didn't like the color of #13 and bought number #14 instead? What if you were 5th in the queue? Did you have to have number #18?
  12. Whats it worth? Depends on how rusty it is.
  13. It's a 240z. They did make them with the steering wheel on the right side He's in the UK if you didn't notice.
  14. Put the nut back on with a little gap between the nut and the wheel, and just yank on the wheel pulling it towards you. Putting the nut back on stops you from bashing yourself in the face when it finally comes loose.
  15. I'm sure Lachlan told me where his car went, but I cant remember. Don't think it was the US. He does have pictures in his gallery of the GT-R surrounds, so I think he did get them. No pictures of them on his car though.
  16. 260Z's aren't too common in the USA, heaps of them down here though. Could try asking the guys at www.auszcar.com if there's anything you want to know.
  17. No, don't think so. I think his had the correct GT-R tail light surrounds.
  18. Add a set of flairs to my list, pending prices.
  19. I had the opposite experience with a 240K sedan. I bought it cheap, and noticed when filling out the paperwork that its engine number started with L28 instead of L24, then a couple of weeks later when I checked the head it had a P90 on it
  20. N47 is good, It means you have the same compression ratio as the E88 (standard L24) head, but bigger valves. Honestly, unless your were trying aiming to build the most powerful engine you could, its not worth getting so annoyed about. Some would say the L24 revs better than the L28 anyway. If all you want is a "nice, normal driver. A fun classic sports car, with only light mods to update it and not affect its reliability" then leave the L24 in there and enjoy the car. It looks like you got a pretty good car for the price anyway, no matter what engine was in it.
