  1. Nissan. I bought a full set of emblems from www.DatsunRestore.com They also have weather striping, but I haven't bought it so I wont comment on that.
  2. Thats because its diluted with water. If it was 100% acid it might. I don't paint over it, I get a wire brush attachment in a grinder and brush off all the white/black crud back to clean bare metal again. If there is still rust I repeat the process. then etch prime and paint.
  3. Oh my. Looks like their website was made by Carl Beck.
  4. Sounds like phosphoric acid. It's what is in the the bottles of rust converter that you can get from hardware shops.
  5. Nope thats all it says with regard to the cam. Maybe it's a blank that they could grind to there own specs??
  6. ...and a sponge to drip the water/wipe the crud away.
  7. There was a 240K for sale on www.ozdat.com in the forum classifieds, but they never said if it was a coupe or sedan.
  8. Nissan competition parts catalogue has some of those part numbers. Here are the ones I could find: Engine: Cam: 99996-E1029 : CAMSHAFT BILLET/UNDRILLED Distributor: 22100-E3101 : 240Z European Distributor Hitachi D606-52 single point distributor. Quicker advance cure than the standard unit. Suspension: Front spring: 54010-E4621 : Spring/F 218 Lbs/In Rear spring 55020-E4621 : Spring/R 271 Lbs/In Brake: Front Caliper: 99996-E7005 Rear Galiper: 99996-E7105 Rotor: 99996-E7121 Front Brakes are from the Z GT2- 4 wheel Disc Brake System. Description: This 4 wheel Hurst/Airheart disc brake system is legal in SCCA GT2 option. Separate adjustable brake master cylinders for front and rear are recommended. A method of adjusting the front to rear brake bias should be adapted for proper operation of this system. Calipers do not include brake pads.
  9. Found the AutoBlog.com gallery. Theres a pretty clear picture of what the car looks like. You'll have to guess whats under the black plastic though. Gallery link: http://www.autoblog.com/photos/nissan-370z-spy-shots/ Also a Video of the disguised car passing a 350Z on a highway in Arizona: http://www.autoblog.com/2008/07/10/spy-video-nissan-370z-caught-in-arizona/
  10. The more I see of the 370Z the more I like it. Didn't like the looks of the 350 from its release, and never grew to like it all that much. It's hard to tell with the black plastic camouflage on the car but I think the rear quarter window might look more like this:
  11. From the side its looks different. If you compare the 350 and 370 side by side, the 370 has a new roofline from the front pillars back, new door shape, side windows are different. Looks like they have been listening to us and given the side profile a more S30-ish look. The roof line now seems to extend further to the rear of the car, whereas the 350Z's roofline curved down more after the cabin, giving there rear that toad rear end look. The window shape is more S30, the Z33 looked more Z32. The line that used to run across the top of the guards, door and all the wat to the back of the car is gone, and now the line drops down across the door and kicks up at the end of the door forming that S30-esque rear quarter window. If the 370Z in the picture wasn't black the differences would be more obvious.. which gives me an idea:
  12. Hope your friend sells you the K .... again
  13. I'd want a full set: Front & rear spoilers, over-fenders (flares) and a GT-R grill. But it would have to be shipped to Perth and packed really well to avoid being damaged. Last F/G thing I had sent form over east arrived damaged.
  14. Ah, the joys of selling a car. Hope you find a genuine buyer soon. Have you tried craigs list. That appears to be a popular place to sell USA based stuff apart from ebay.
  15. Why do the exhaust valves warp if you don't have an exhaust manifold bolted up?
  16. Currently there's a CSP311 and a Z31 2+2 Turbo. Hoping to get the Z31 done and back on the road in the next couple of weeks so I can get an S30 or C110 in its place.
  17. I went crazy a while back and bought too many Kyosho Z's, and a couple of Skylines
  18. YOU WOULD GO DEAF. (yes I was cyber-shouting intentionally)
  19. They look like Yatming aka Road Signature die casts. The window frames stay attached to the body when you open the doors on them. Edit: Yep you can see the logo in the first photo. I didn't look at it till after I posted.
  20. I never got a reply to my email to him. I'd still like a full set, but I don't like my chances of getting it posted across Australia without something breaking
