Why do you need the old ecu if you are going to use a megasquirt?
  12. Great post. Nice work. I just had a thought: You should put a sticker with your phone number on the inside of the hubcap. Incase you ever lose one in the future, your chances of getting it back would be better.

    Ya reckon?
  14. Not for japanese domestic market cars you wont. I'd guess that it wont have the vin number on the Dash either. Strange to see a JDM S130 Fairlady 280z in the US. Wonder how it got there.. Yes that is an R200 diff.
  15. For those wondering the pictures are from a guy that goes by alias of Grid He decided to do a "what if" 3D computer model of modern-retro style 240Z (along the lines of the retro Camaro and Mustangs that were built). The pictures are renderings of that computer model. more info here: http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?f=43&t=608914&page=1&pp=15
  16. How rusty are the rear quarter panels on the 2 door. In particular the lower part between the door and the front of the rear wheel arch. I also need a coupe roof lining.
  17. Check the vin tag for the original engine number.

The hood vents are a long way forward of the cowl vents. The cowl on the 240z is where the fan blower gets its fresh air from.
  22. Mr Camouflage posted a post in a topic in Body & Paint
they let the hot air out from under the hood.

  24. I have 2 of them. The first one I bought, the seller neglected to mention the first 5 pages were missing.
  25. Lucky there's no damage to the car, but do go to the doctor and get yourself checked out. Did the person in the SUV stop, or did he just take off? I don't understand why people sit up someones a$$ trying to make them go faster, instead of just overtaking them. When it happens to me I usually slow down a little more, then wave my hand out the window for them to pass me.
