73 to 72 frt bumper swap..doable?
I tell ya; Put that '73 bumper on Ebay! That thing's worth more than a nice '70-'72 bumper. It was only made for one year model, so there are purists out there looking for it. Sell it, take the money and buy a nice'70-'72 on ebay and your all set. See ya.

73 to 72 frt bumper swap..doable?
Forget it! Unless you have a mig welder and air tools, you'll have to cut off the bumper end brackets, and flip them. Then remove the '73 front mounts, and fab some kinda mount for the '72 brackets. It can be done if your patient, and have the right tools. Hell, just buy a nice used '72 bumper off Ebay. Life is too short! See ya.

73 to 72 frt bumper swap..doable?
By the way: I used my extra '70-'72 front bumper guards since the '73 guards were gone when I bought the car. '73's should work though.

73 to 72 frt bumper swap..doable?
Yes! Did mine about a month ago. Had an extra set of '72 bumper brackets, and a rechromed '72 bumper laying around, so I went after it. Just unbolt the '73 assembly at the two mounting points inside the front fender wells. Don't forget to unbolt the bumper end to fender bolts, also inside the fender well. Remove the two filler pieces, and bolt up the '70-'72 front bumper assembly. The '70-'72 backets fit inside the grill-underhood area. Nissan was nice enough to leave these threaded holes in the '73. Wish I had some pics, but I feel confident that you can do it.

84-85 N/A wheels offset
Can anyone tell me the backspace for a 84-85 4-lug wheel? I have a set of 15x7 Revolution wheels (made in England) with a 4.5 inch back space. I don't need them, but I'm trying to figure out how to list them. Thanks DK

I am so pissed off....
$50 dollars my Texas brother! File it, for the value of the car-up to $5000 if you have to. I'm tellin' ya, she'll panic and call her agent. Screw a bunch of insurance fraud billramsey2002, it's the Damn principle! In threefittyzee's case, that piece of excrement was at fault! In my case, I have'nt lost any sleep over State Farms $650 loss. Between the insurance companies and the attorneys, $650 is like putting a quarter in a gumball machine.wizz upon the insurance companies and the attorneys. By the way, my time is worth the $1800 dollars that State Farm forked over. It's the principle!

I am so pissed off....
Let me tell you a little story, my Texas brother. Six years ago, when I lived in some apartments, this fat chick ran into my one-owner Mazda B2000(O.K. it's no, Z but I bought it brand new and I still own it). I didn't see her do it, but she was dumb enough to stay parked next to me. And when I saw the damage, I looked at her car and found paint off my mazda imbedded in her Dodge Stratus bumper. I immediately grabbed my camera, and used up a roll of film with pix of my truck(every inch of damage), and her car. I then called some of my police buddies for advice, even had one come by to look at the damage, in case I needed a professional witness. He ran the plate for me(not supposed to do that, but he's a friend), and I called the "pile" up and told her to call me with her insurance information. Days later, she called me back, leaving a message saying that she didn't hit my truck, and that she couldn't help me. At that point, I decided that it was time for legal action. I went down to the small claims court, and filed suit against the "slab", which cost me $50. They served her, and in less than three days, I had State Farm calling me. By the way, I only carry liability insurance on the B2. They had me come out to there drivethru claim center, and wrote me an estimate. They informed me that they would give me $650 for the damage(Driver's side front bed was pushed in an inch or two, distorting the lower body line and fender radius a bit). Luckily, I have a friend with a bodyshop, who is hated dearly by State Farm for his integrity. Anyway, He writes me an estimate for $1250, $750 of which was alotted for an NOS bedside panel. I told State Farm that that was what I needed, and they sent me a check for $1250 only a few days later. Two words; SMALL CLAIMS!

rust under hatch
Bought one of the Ebay panels back when they were $100(2001). Very nice piece. Drilled all the spot welds out, used a cutoff saw to grind off the welds on the outside left and right sides. Used my friends(owns a bodyshop) pinch welder, to duplicate the original spot welds. Mig-welded the outside edges, per Nissan. Seam-sealed all the edges, followed by epoxy primer. Bingo, I defy anyone to discern it from an original.

This was the day I got the car(right off the roleback). The car hadn't run in nine years! hence the 280 engine in the foreground-check other pix. Guess what, two months later, with fresh oil, plugs, drained tank and fresh gas, popped right off. Only a Datsun!

Nissa Patrol G60 1976
If only I could drive it up from down under. Faredinkum mate. I can't even imagine what the correct spelling of that is. Great country mate, I saw half of it from Alice Springs, to Caines, to Brisbane, Surfer's P, Syd, Melbourne, Adelaide, Etc. If only I woulda brought my Lefty Z, or '65 Mustang, or the '74 Z-28, or the '95 and '96 impala SS or......
