Trouble finding rims
Mate Wheel decisions are tough... 17" Simmons Wheels in Aus seem to work fine. No spacer required. This is what I am running.!! Motorsport Auto in CA have a few designs that look good.. i.e.Panasport. If I had my time again I would go for 18" !!

Vapour Lock Definition
I tend to notice vapour lock during exessive periods of idling, say at traffic lights on a hot day. It occurs when attempting to take off at high speed. It is often quite hot in Australia so its no surprise. I have a heat shield, plus my extractors are HPC Coated to prevent heat transfer...It still happens despite this. Trick is, to know when it might happen, so you dont end up getting smoked off the line!

Tod Kaneko 240z
This car was featured in a Z calender I am sure! Guided me in the selection of the wheels for my Z!! Gotta like those busy spokes, suites a flowing shape like the Z Car!

SimonsZ
Hats off to this guy. He knows his stuff, and the car is a credit to him. A truly magnificent 240Z. I personally have not seen a better restoration in Australia.

Rear Shot
No probs with 240 minus rear bar.... But, you must fill in indent area. Otherwise it looks bad. The Chrome bar looks good minus overriders (in my opinion) but your right, it costs a fortune!!.

excellentZ
This would have to be one of the best rear flare kits I have seen. Looks good glassed in. This is the only way a Z could accomodate a "Deep Dish" style mag wheel. Nice!

Pretty sure this car is in Japan. Remember looking at website years ago, the guy was nuts, best workmanship I have ever seen.

Paint !!
Thanks guys.. It takes some brass to pick yellow as your colour!! Yellow can either make or break the car. I have seen some bad decisions in the past. Took me ages to decide.

What's wrong with Automatics
Of course, this is a matter of personal taste. I swapped from Auto to 5 speed Manual haven't looked back. A sports car is for driving, a manual shift occupies you and gives you the sensation of controlling the machine. For me anyway!!

Try Nissan Dealers for most parts. obviously some are no longer available, plus you will $$$ for it! In terms of Interior components, try to source good ones, otherwise I used Vinyl Dye, glue, plastic, just about anything to restore them.
