  2. i have not owned a z since 79 so............ but the guy is 80 years old and i don't think he really knows what the hell it is besides a datsun.i'd like to be straightened out as well. please help.
  3. the car has been in a barn since the 80 yr old man's daughter decided against college and married after high school. the z was to be her college trophy car supplied by the proud dad. he got pissed and put the car away. it sits 20miles south of kansas city in the country. the car is shiny even though the filth is everywhere. there are 2 rust bubbles along 1 rocker near the rear wheel the size of a dime. the passenger door has a dent from a lawn mower which will be a bit to repair but no big deal. the wheels and hub caps are rusted and the original tires are gone from sitting. the interior is a glorious thing. the cardboard beneath the drivers area looks new. the carpets appear fresh. the only flaw was abroken choke handle. the belt squeaked while it ran but man did it sound good. it is a bloody new car that has sat in a barn for 30 years! i nearly fell down when i saw it.i'll ever see anything like it again and i know i've not seen anything like it to date. it needs tires, wheels shocks and the motor i believe fully checked due to lack of use. he said he does drive it regularly. the car needs to be cleaned and cleaned again and no one but no one will have anything like it. i hope that i don'e whack my bid too much by the text as i wish to sell my mercedes 190e -16valve and buy this to drive. i drive short distances to work and have a quattro for weather.
  4. what a moment! i have owned 2 z's. i have just come from looking at this car, an orange 73 for sale on ebay . it has 8000 original miles. there are few moments in a classic car freak's life like that one...........
