  1. I am going to look at a motor and transmission Friday night. The guy on the phone knew nothing of the motor. The add actually read "nissian engine dual carburator transmission". So I belive him when he says that he knows little. I was looking in my Haynes and Chilton manuals, but they only show the info that I am able to get is size. I know I should know the diffrence between the carburators, from 70 - 73 but I'm still a little foggy. If any of you could help me out with a number range for each year if possible that would be great. I'll be sure to take some pictures to post to get the throbbing brain's opionon on the matter. Thanks
  2. I think all the monkeys that had these cars cut holes in the roofs during the 80s here in the midwest. Unfortunately my 72 has one too.
  3. I need to sell my 1973 240z. It has 84,000 original miles on it and was previously a Texas car. It has only been in Wisconsin as a summer car. The floor pans and underneath the battery tray are extremely solid with no rust. Between training for a marathon and work my baby gets no attention. The blue book for it was 5,000$ in poor shape, but the z's that i have seen in that price range on autotrader seem a little nicer than mine. I was thinking 4,000 would be appropriate, but you guys can check out my gallery when the pics are approved and set me straight. I would really appreciate feed back. If you do not care to wait just e-mail me at tthompson240@yahoo.com and I can send you the pictures. Thanks. Thomas

  5. Looking for a v-8 in the midwest for a conversion. If the deal is good will consider doing a LT1/ T-56 or a carbed motor with a 5sp. Would require a long block and acessories. No 400 hp monsters wanted. Please e-mail at tthompson240@yahoo.com. Thanks
