hey seerex, i was thinking about those ssr reverse mesh's for a while, until i converted the japanese yen price to US dollars, and omg $600 some odd dollars per wheel, then add the huge shipping and customs charges to get it shipped from japan, and it seems like its just a LITTLE out of my price range haha

the ones i may be purchasing are the gold mesh with the polished lip, but if i buy them i would either paint or get them anodized black, are your rikens anodized or painted? any pics?

Here's a picture of a set on this 240z which i believe is a member on this forum, it seems theyre hard to find, only found them for sale used, so i have a feeling they were made decades ago and have been discontinued for a long time, very beautiful wheels imo

i have searched everywhere, but have found nowhere where they sell Riken wheels, i believe they were made by enkei and were discontinued many years ago. I could be wrong though, does anyone know of a company that sells Riken wheels???

I have found a set on the internet. What are these wheels in 16X7 with less than half tread left on the tires worth? The guy is asking $750 plus shipping but that seems a little steep to me. What do you guys think?

ok, that cleared things up somewhat, thanks, is it the strut housing or strut insert that is cut shorter? i would assume the strut insert? (sorry i'm really in the dark about this and am trying to figure out how to do this)

I have been searching through the archives for information on how to install adjustable coil-overs on a 240z, as im interested in installing 17X8 and 17X9 wheels in the future. I have read that the strut inserts (?) have to be shortened. From my previous experience with suspension installations the "strut inserts" were always just referred to as "shocks". I am kind of unclear on the descriptions of "strut cartridge," "strut housing," and "strut insert". and since im not clear on what exactly these parts are im also unclear on what part is actually cut up to be shortened. Could someone on here with more knowledge enlighten me? Thanks in advance.
