  1. Talk to Tim, Saro. I'll bet he'll adjust it. Does it sound that much different from mine? (also his work). I saw a truck come in with a compliant about the tone, and watched them dive it back on the rack. P.S. - Does this mean your car is Running? Allright!!! the reward for your long hard work! Another Z in Victor's hood.
  2. Just call them SSR MkI's instead of Centerlines for phony JDM cred.
  3. REALLY Nice DEEEP dish on those wheels! They look like they may be 8's
  4. I think the polished "Turbo" cover sets the engine compartment detial on fire. Keep it Ryan, It's the shisnet.
  5. Lucky man! Two Beauties!
  6. Gotta maintain my street cred of "More go than show"!
  7. With good reason to love, Lachlan. This car was stunning! Right down to the Tom's wheels, the car was perfect example of the species.
  8. It was dirty. That's why the hood stayed closed the entire show. Didn't detial her at all.
  9. and http://www.jtuned.com/content/templates/mrt.aspx?articleid=320&zoneid=3 and http://forums.club4ag.com/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=119103 Those will keep ya buisy for a while!

  11. 1964 SPL310 3 seater! you're looking at some of the rarest original hubcaps you'll ever see! this was back east? then I'll bet i know the owner.
  12. It was a great show. I think people will have fond memories of this show for some time. I just got off the phone with Mrs. Yamaguchi. She called me with thanks for my help. I told her that what I did was so little compared to their labors and that everyone I've spoken to was so happy with the way the day the had and the cars they'd seen. She was really happy to hear that. During the show, they were so busy that they had very little opertunity to really see how things were going. After they had returned the rental equipment last night, they found that they were too tired to walk, too tired to even talk. She said that she would update the japaneseclassiccarshow.com site soon (not today please!) with a list of the award winners and photos. It was nice seeing you Ben! I'm the one who ended up sunburned beyond recognition!
  13. Dude! they're up. And, They Rock! good shots. Bill, If I'm late SOMETIMES, please forgive me. Work does kick my butt a bit.
  14. That would look nice next to a 1960 EB-0 No basses?
  15. Here's a piece of rare aluminum!
  16. I think Ron gave you the best one so far - 14 inch wheels with tall arse tires Big ol 215/70/14's - 25.85 inches of comfort
  17. Vapor system diagram http://www.datsun510.com/photopost/data/500/149DSCN1404.JPG
  18. Keep the vapor stuff and the PCV, no harm in those. Getting a dizzy with a lower intial timming doesn't hurt and helps.
  19. Carefull with that axe Eugene..... You are exempt from manditory annual inspection. Removing or defeating smog devices is still unlawfull and prohibts your car from operation. But...... 99 percent of the smog air pumps out there no longer work and actually hurts your cars performance which increases your pollution emmisions. So, That's where most start in their engine clean-up efforts.
  20. Yes. "Sakura" means "Cherry Blossom" a significant japanese iconic image. They are truely Cherry blossom shaped, and were pink in color. However, It looks to me that they aren't keeping that color. Brouse through Japanese S30 web sites and you'll find photos of these wheels on Z cars. They are rare and much saught after there.
  21. Thank you Rick. You summed up my feelings over most of what I've been hearing since this happened.
  22. I've been following this thread on the club4ag.com site for a while. I think it may interest a few of you hard core JDM old school (original f'n school) fans. http://forums.club4ag.com/topic.asp?ARCHIVE=&whichpage=1&TOPIC_ID=117456 Whatta ya think. Will it get off the ground? If they did make them, would anyone buy them? How about my question. Would reproducing them lessen their legendary status?
  23. Any body going to this show? http://www.zcarclubnova.org/events/current_events/AGZFZCRS_2005.htm Take pictures!
  24. Your photo shows a Hitachi built "Round Top" 4 screw SU, concurent with your 1971 build date. A few moths later, it would have been fitted with the "3 screw" models.
  25. Don't drive off untill ya get some lug nuts on them Wat knock offs! I've heard some folks have trouble fitting the center caps on the front wheels
