  1. Ryan, This car was at the MSA show, and it IS as beautiful in person as it is on film. Every detail is so finished and perfectly fitted.
  2. I know a few of you guys enjoy a roadster photo or two, how about a couple hundred? Last weekend was the annual Shasta Roadster show. Riaz Abzal, Roadster nut, first class, is one of those folks (like me) who really puts in an effort to photo the cars in attendance. Below is his message to the Roadster List and the link to his photo page. Enjoy! --------------------attached----Snipped------edits---- Hey All, Just got back from the Mt. Shasta Datsun Roadster Show. All things went great and many cars did show up. Although the turnout was not the same as 2004's Mt. Shasta Show. Many similar faces and some new with a couple of unseen cars and some new SR swapped roadsters. Other than that, all else was usual. So I've uploaded the pictures taken by my older brother, Alias Abzal, and hope you enjoy them. http://community.webshots.com/user/riazabzal06
  3. Adjusting your carbs is the last and final step in tuning you car. Go through the ignition and ignition timing before touching the carbs. it's far more likely your trouble will be found there. Adjustments made to carbs on engines with other troubles lead to big headaches,
  4. And I just approved them. Very nice! Quite a beauty!

That's right! send him customers. The best gift you can give a buisnessman is more buisness!
  6. I think the blaster II is ok, that is, I've read others using it without the resistor. I beleive you want the Low Ohm (0.6 ?). The safest is to go back to the wrekers and get the ZX coil and bracket (it's fatter than the stocker). I have the ZX coil on my car and a Mallory on the roadster (also Nissan EI equipped). The EI dizzy and the 12 volt coil really heats up that spark! You can run a larger plug gap, but only if your cap, rotor and leads are in great shape
  7. It should work properly with the resistor removed and the leads joined. I can't imagine what's up. Although a local fellow came over last week with the same situation. He, Also just installed the ZX dizzy. In his case the tacho was rewired in the past for some circa 1970's ish capacitence discharge unit. We still havn'e sorted that mess out. Change the coil too! the stock coil is not ment to run the full 12volts. It will have a melt-down in short order.
  8. Gee, I had a "want list" just like yours 3 years ago ...... $6,000 dollars later, it's much shorter. hang in there. Here's a tip, Many of the Nissan parts items being sold on ebay by vendors are still availible from Nissan. They buy them and resell at a profit. take a good look at the items offered again and again by the same vendor. That ebay $6.00 sale was purchased last week for $3.50 at Nissan.

  14. This just hit the roadster email list and I thought I'd share. http://www.rockyauto.co.jp/ Yummy! The roadster crowd was remarking on how highly valued the 63 SP310 1500 roadster was - 4 million yen How'd ya like a nice C10 GTR replica powered by an RB25? - 4 million and it's yours! Lots of G-Noses for ya all and plenty of Skylines. I alway wanted to stop into Rose Auto, but now it's Rocky Auto for me!

Right! My door LH panel, bought from MSA 2 (?) years ago, had the door pull handle holes. Since I wasn't too keen on open holes, I installed the door pull. Kind of glad I did. It's really quite a convenience.

Slover eh? Did they do your work? Haven't they been doing speed work since.... forever? Costly? Post some contact info. I was thinking of Mark DeGroff. He's done some respectable V8 race heads. donknow if that equates to L6 theory.

When you find that LY, I'll take the OS Gilken Twin cam! Seriously, I'm interested in what you find. I'm ready to have a head prepared for 44 mikuni's and lumpy street cam (bigger valves, opened passages, dialed in combustion cambers). All I have on-hand is an early E88. I'd like to learm more cause I'd rather not waste my money (less money to waste on strippers)

That's it! Let's all blame Jason!
  25. I did a tune up - valve adjustment, new plugs - this weekend and had no idea how much she needed one! The Seat-o-the-pants dyno really felt the difference. IF it's been a while, tune her up. Certainly your car deserves a new set of NGK BP6ES's
