  1. I wish they had shipped the U.S. Market cars with the 5 speed. If they had, I might still be able to get parts for my roadster 5's. That is, unless one of you guys is sitting on a stack of steel servo style syncros for the FS5C71A's I'm all for the pinto's baby! There was a pinto that raced at PBIR (early 80's) that tore up track.
  2. Ouch! <My SRL is yellow I know this will qualify me as "Hopeless Geek of the Week", but Wouldn't they have to be Empi's to be correct?
  3. I think I said this earier, in this thread, but ... I'm running 225/50/15's on the same spec rim with no rubbing.
  4. HS30? S30? I'm pretty sure from the serial number it's not a SR311. In 1969 and 1970, there was more than one Fairlady.
  5. The Roadster list is dying to know if the SR roadster in the Nissan Classics garage is obtainable. you cannot buy it, so they are wondering if you can win it, or is it just background decor. I guess I'm going to buy the game.
  6. now they work :knockedou As for Ricer taillights?
  7. Jayru, I don't know where you are located, BUT, This ad may help you decide 15X7 Gunmetal Rewinds for sale

  10. Got rid of the British five spoke Revolution Competition wheels for these super-lightweight Advan A3A's they need tires, as I bought them of a drifter. Bad photo - I just couldn't wait for daylight
  11. If he'd show up, he would win every year.... But no!!! He has to go to his Mom's Birthday.
  12. The forum Technical Articles is specifically for finished, edited "How to" threads. for instance, if you had photo documented an installation of a fan shroud on a 71, 72 or early 73 Z (they are all the same in this detail) and wrote a how to install article around your photos, that would belong in that forum. I've moved this to the engine forum, as I believe it belongs.
  13. I bought and installed the fiberglass one that MSA sells (Dam they have alot of my money!) It fits nicely. I can't attribute to it contribution to engine cooling as my z runs fairly cool as a rule. I added it as insurance.
  14. Nate, Since your sans Z, can we assign you as "Official CZCC Event Photographer"?
  15. The early 260 has the added benifit of still having the mounting points for the early bumper. If you obtain a 240 bumper and brackets, your conversion is complete.
  16. Looking forward to approving your photos, Dan. PM me if you have more troubles.
  17. CSP311 - Rare - there's an understatement! I think they're beautifull. I'll never own one, only because I can't fit into one! Looking forward to Les Cannaday completing the restoration of the one he bought 2 years ago. Although, hand beaten panels and one-off parts ar going to slow his progress. So, this one is in W.A. ! And I thought Alan Bent owned just about all of them on the Gold Coast! One most of got past him.
  18. I can't agree with "they honestly don't do much". The 911 was a great car through most of it evolution. I have much respect. The motorsports history of these cars is staggering. But, I'm a Datsun fan, so 3 Datsuns and 0 porsches grace my garage.
  19. I'll try to find the link.... but.. One of the Roadster guy's did this with the "hit it while it's cold" method, and WOW! did it work. The whole floor was cleared with a single blow
  20. It has potential. Elbow grease, cleaner wax and a stack of rags and this too can be an engine compartment meant to be seen
  21. Now that I look at it again.... I may have got that wrong, That is, Is that the fuel inlet this device is connected to? or a vent?
  22. What your seeing is a home-made replacement for the float bowls. Notice there are no float bowls for either carb? The fuel line fills the filter which acts as a shared bowl for the two carbs, Crazy? yes! Creative? Hell Yes!
