  1. If you want to go off-spec for a "Better" connector, I have good things to say about the GM Weather-Pac connectors. They just don't look right in a Datsun is the only draw-back. Oh yea, and they're expensive as hell. another point against
  2. Mike, I do alot of business with Eagleday, mainly for the AMP Fastin-Faston connectors and terminals (like the one you're looking at) and the JIS Bullet connectors (Roadster use these by the bucket full). BTW, this 8mm AMP Fastin-Faston (Spade and Recepticle) is the exact replacement for the main power connectors in the 240Z. I also bought the crimper from them for $30 and It works fine Just want to add this warning - the nylon housings for the the 6.3mm connectors are NOT the same as the ones used in the Datsuns. Except for the 3 position one which does work for the headlight harness connections. Oh yea, of course the 1 position also works, but I think the Z uses only 1 of these in the entire car!
  3. Mohamed, give us a report on how she rides after you install these.
  4. You lucked out - A set of Wats for a sawbuck is a pretty rare deal.

  6. Not Mine. Never had a set, Wouldn't turn down a set, But I'm more interested in vintage JDM alloy. What I'd get goosy for would be a set of Empi magnesium 2 piece circa 1967. About as tough to find as those ARE Le Mans wheels, but more period correct for the roadster. Somewhere there's a photo of the JPGP roadster (67? 68?) wearing the Empi's
  7. Mas (Takumi Project) has a barely used set of 15X8 @0 R types at a great price right now. Do me the big favor and BUY them before I give in to my wheel whore urges.
  8. Awesome! 15X8 @0? Did ya buy the new? Pardon me, can I ask how much you paid? $2,500?
  9. Here's my set of Six hole wheels. I was told that they were pacer sport by Les Cannady, but they have no brand info, just the ANSI certification in the casting. http://public.fotki.com/DatsunVic/sports_car_junkie/6_hole_close_up.html BTW, the center caps were fitted by me several years ago. At the time, I thought the "P/S" Stood for Pacer Sports. But Steve just gave me the real source in a post above
  10. Terry and Kogi arent the kind of folks to be able to pay "the big price". i hope they get it back!
  11. Weird?!? I'm getting a re-direct to something about texas?? I geuss Kogi san is too buisy with the show to know his site has fallen off the map.
  12. Thank you Stephen! I've been wondering for quite a while what the origin of "P/S" caps I've had.
  13. This is a proven good time. Come on and eat BBQ! More info at http://www.dimequarterly.tierranet.com/calendar.html#November
  14. Its the rubber seal of the backflow valve that goes bad and causes dry start-ups. I've have 3 old stock nissan filters do this to me.
  15. This really is a great "At Speed" photo!
  16. Your'e not foolin me Bob. Your'e just making room for a Roadster.
  17. I like the Laurel. But, the ad is incorrect. It will not be legal in CA. Since it's a 76, It's smog required, despite it's origin.
  18. Hey-ya Mike! I'm in Eagle Rock just south of Glendale. Look me up if ya need a hand or special tool.
  19. Thanks Bob! You just turned us on to another great resource forum!
  20. Sakuras! Not sure but I THINK these are from the second remanfucture in the 90's That really doesn't effect the value, as They all are freakin expensive. To date, I have yet to see a set in the US I've been trying my best to be a student of Japanese alloy wheels and learn what I can from the web and direct observation. A couple of months ago, this (below) was posted on the club4ag.org site ---------reprinted w/o permissiom from club4ag.com http://forums.club4ag.com/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=129798 Those are "Yayoi" by TECHNO RACING. Recently, NEEZ,Co. (Kagawa Pref. branch) re-produced in 15inch version. (15x8 / offset -10 Limited production of ONLY 40 / 240,000 yen for set of (4)) Currently, same re-production version are used on Tadokoro's D1 vehicle. Followings are some pictures of original logo of "Yayoi" Racing, re-production version and Tadokoro's D1 AE86. Re-production version looks OK but I like the original "Yayoi". ----------end quote-------- more photos from the web
