  1. That's the dealer installed Aircondition control.
  2. Barbara, There's lot's of threads here on wheel fittment. If you use the search feature, you'll be a Z wheel fittment guru in no time. Here's the condensed version. Motorsports Auto sells quite a few wheel sets for your Z. Might I suggest the 15X7 Konig "Rewinds" they have on their site. A popular style for the lowest price out there. For used wheels, sure to fit your Z try Eric's zparts.com There's a few more out there.
  3. I like this seat! It resembles the Nissan sport seat yes? Is 68,000 yen a lot of usd?
  4. We can't yell too much about fuel economy here. True, a high performance Z get better MPG than a Hummer, but not really that much. Especially once you've cammed, tripled 50'ed, 4:11'ed! And I know for a fact this is not the Mild Driver's Club, is it? If this was the Honda Insight Internet Club, we could yell about wasted resources. What offends me about the behemoths is, I live in a crowded city. Baby, we is tight up in here. Parking is at a premium as well as freeway space. And here Joe Somebody in their 6 ton grocery getter as wide as legally possible, taking 2 spaces. F you sir, f you very much, you self centered bastard. I drive an official SUV differential inspector. I can inspect your Hummer for leaks without getting out of my car. God I wish I could see around you on the freeway. If I was a little lower it would not be such a problem as then I could get a good view of the road ahead between your 22'' wheels. I drive a sports car and studied physics. Mass X Velocity = Force is still the rule in my universe. If I perform a high speed avoidance maneuver, I, at least have a chance at making it. Why is this giant truck going faster than I am? Does that driver really feel safer? Dreamer!

    How Old?

45 here. I saw my first Z parked in front of the general store in my home town, 35 years ago. I was on my way to my favorite fishing spot and there was this low, sleek exotic car. I gawked at it like it could have been a spaceship.
  6. That's a scream, Jerry. Thanks, I needed a laugh to start my day. 1, 600 photos of people, wolrdwide, dissing the Hummers. I no longer feel alone. I'm going to submit mi pic soon.
  7. Give Les at CDM a big stack o money and leave your car... Volia! No really, I've been considering it, even though the IRS Z needs it alot less than a live axle car. My roadster HAD to have a H190 LSD. I hated it with an open diff (Unlimited Slip Differential?). The jury is still out on weither I'll LSD a R180 or swap up to the bigger, heavier R200. People speak of strength issues, But I think they are not considering that when you install the LSD, it's much stronger than the open. If you go down (up in your case) to CDM, Ask Les to show you his collection of R192 units. Sklyline LSD 444's and he wont sell, not even one.

It's an L motor with the ultra rare LY crossflow head and triple 50mm Mikuni/Solex. Jammin
  9. Thanks Ben, But you would agree that there is more than one "Old School"? I mean my SSR MKII's are more early 80's are they not? Then there's the American "school". the five hole wheels fit that perfectly. Like the Libra style would. Then the "Mini light" lineage with all those knock off's, started by the racing coopers. For the roadsters, the ultimate "OS" is Enkie 8 spokes in the Datsun lug pattern (somewhat rare now). We (roadster folk) found some late 60's photo of Nissan's "Works" roadsters, wearing 8 spoke wheels, that, in light of some of the information you found are likely the KS 8 spokes you spoke of in the other thread. So what "schools" do we have? 60's Brit - Minilight 60's US - Ansen 70's JDM - KS? 70's US - Libra 80's JDM - SSR, Meshies, Hyashi More? Save your pennies!
  10. Did anyone notice they have the "Ansen" style 5 hole mag in 17X7@0 4X4.5? I wonder how that would fit? The old school 5 hole look in 17!
  11. Any ID cast into those wheels? They look like they could be a set of 100+'s (a Brit brand of circa 1967 wheels).

Nice deep dish mesh wheels! SSR's?
  13. The wheels AND the car looks great. You've not only restored the pre-accident glory, you surpassed it! Hey, your right headlight cover looks familiar. Now get a job quick before you have to sell your car.
  14. "P" as in "Prime". But Prime brand wheels are not 2 piece. The Aussie Compmotive (?) makes one that looks just like this one. That's my guess
  15. Not only the valve cover, you've kept the entire engine compartment very nice and stock. I see lots of original clamps, ties and even the battery positive lead. Show ready.

It's not my car, just took the photo. They look like SSR "Reverse" Mesh wheels. They are still sold but they are costly since it's a special order from Japan. Several Speed Shops (Ricer peed shops) sell SSR rims and could order a set for you. I suggest 15X7 with a 0 offset running 225/50/15 tires. that formula worked for me. the ones in the photo appear to be 16's or 17's. Tire size and offset get's a bit tricky on the larger wheel sizes
  17. I want to do this! Make a kit for me! I'll buy, no problem. I'd like to be able to see with my dome light too!
  18. Allright! Good going! How's mom? Sure there is! Alt+0233 = Timothée
  19. I don't understand why you folks put your ice outside, on the ground!?! How are you going to make margaritas now that it's all dirty! you people are silly.
  20. Take some slack out of the clutch rod and this might clear up. Sound like you got the FS5C71A transmission used in the Non-US market Z cars (long Tail), All of the SR roadsters (short tail) and the C10, and C110 Skylines. there are visable differences in the shifter arrangment on the transmission. There is a web page with photos to guide your ID. Search "5 speed" and Identification on this site

    15" Type R Watanabe

Quite A bit, I susspect! Hey, I visited Takumi Project and met Mas yesterday. It's quite an expirence! vintage JDM wheels stacked up everywhere, filling every corner of the shop. He's really hot on vintage wheels. I think it's a hobby/lust that's grown into a buisness.

    1962 SP 310

The 63 to 65 SP310 is a beauty. Notice the side trim goes all the way forward to the headlight buckets? From 65.5 on the trim ends behind the front wheel arch, as the fenders got more flare. The dash panel is particularly nice, as it is painted the body color. These are rare cars. Production levels were very low. Surviviors are few. We know of only 2 that can be documented as being build in 1962 for the 1963 model year.
