  1. Anyone hear of an R190 diff? I have a friend who boasts he has a rare, JDM 190 LSD diffy from a Skyline. Is he full of poo or set up?
  2. Here, I 've been looking for over a year to find a perfect 521 to restore and you were given one!?! Pardon my jelous rage.
  3. Watch out! My Datsun Roadster will bite your arse!
  4. Right on that point. If our HLS30's are a design consession, They did just fine. It's quite comfortable and ergonmic for a sports car. Driving a RHD car in North America, your too busy trying to see around the car ahead to note differences in the driver ergonomics! I have driven HLS's and SPL/SRL's for so long, having the handbrake on the left side would seem odd
  5. All you need is a scoop of vanilia ice cream to go with your new root beer car! Very Nice!
  6. The heck with the lights! Somebody box up the whole car and send it to me!
  7. ZXMeCruise Wrote - I didnt think that there was a difference between the 280Z wires and the 240Z wires, am I wrong You didn't think correctly:classic: They fit all L-6
  8. Really, Z boy friends come and go, But Z sugar Daddys are few and far between. Life continues... Hummm, I wonder how the brown-eyed girl in the coffee shop would look in a 240Z?.....
  9. Mr C, Excellent photo! Please put that in your gallery, with "reference electrical switch signal turn" in the Keywords field.

Careful, If you leave it open like that, I might drive off with it.
  11. I cannot undersatand why the U.S. Never got this car. If you look at the success of the WRX, just think, Nissan could have beat it to the punch. What we got was the Sentra-based, U.S. Market Pulsar NX 2000, Which was a FWD SR20DE powered
  12. What he is describing is how to identify the gear box by the ratio of the final drive. Put the transmission in fifth gear. Put a clutch plate on the input shaft. Mark the plate and note the mark's position, that position is known as 12 o clock. Rotate the output shaft 1 or 10 complete revolutions. Note the new position of the mark on the clutch plate and relate it to the original position like the hour hand of a clock. Ok. Now it's been a year since I did this and I can't remember whether you turn the input shaft and read the output shaft or visa-versa
  13. For the old-timer, Non-environmental-friendly method of the "draft tube" extractor, run a flexible line from the crankcase vent to a hard line that protudes 1'' below the frame. cut the hard line at a sharp angle open to the rear of the car. the angled cut will produce a negitive pressure on the line at speed. Of course, if your rings are bad, you'll get the added benifit of corrosion protection to the underside of the bodyLOL Just like on dad's Rambler!

Darren, It would appear that you SCORED! Is that a respray of the 112 Nissan Lime, or could that be the original coat?
  15. He's Not alone. A 510 will join my Z and my Roadster, as soon as I find THE one. A 1200 sunny fastback coupe is in the cards as well.
  16. Ya know, She smiling cause she's thinking of me.
  17. This shot is from my balcony taken today, at 5:00 pm, as the sun loses it's battle to the blanket of smoke from the many SoCal fires
  18. An eerie false sundown over L.A. as the sun loses to the blanket of smoke from the many SoCal fires
  19. Third fuse down on the right side?
  20. My place is not very big. A 3/2, 1400 sf. No garage, vertical back yard! But I got the best veiw in the city.
  21. Well, I see them. And yes, that's what we call "Iron Cross" style 280ZX rims. You should be able to find them in Texas. Every Z shop here in Galliffornnia seems to have 2~3 sets to sell.
  22. Well, You got the photo from our "Blast from the Past" forum. But, if you have them, How much do you want? Are they in as good condition as the ones in the photo? I'm a half mile from Glendale.
  23. Sounds very much like fuel supply. Change your fuel filter and write back the results.
