KGC10-R Pics
Jim, Did you buy that car of Ron? I have sat in that car many times and drooled over it at the NDSOC meetings aswell. It is a fukn awesome car. I hope you enjoy your time with her and take good care of her. If I had the money, I would have bought it a few months ago. For those who dont know, the engine is an L28 that has been built by Kakimoto Racing in Japan. Cant remember what the power output is on it, but she goes pretty hard.

Wtf - 350z
A couple more of these "bargains" have come on ebay today. This time there are 2 R34 GTR's. One for $7500 and one for $8500. Very very dodgy.

Wtf - 350z
Just saw this today and couldnt believe my eyes. Does this guy really want to sell this car so cheap, or is he just hoping that heaps of people are going to outbid each other, or is it just a typo. Eithway, $8800 for a brand new 350Z is bloody cheap. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=45571&item=2487246908&rd=1

P-plate restrictions discussed
Nice to see a bit of action happening around here. As far as I am aware, there is a restriction as to how powerful a car a P Plater can drive, atleast in Victoria, although nobody seems to enforece it. I always thought that P Platers werent allowed to drive cars that had more than 125kW per tonne (8:1). Having said that, its not always power that kills people. Behaviour and "heroness" are part of it to.

P-plate restrictions discussed
I think that something needs to be done about young drivers on our road. Unfortunately the government is once again going about it the wrong way. Making up curfews for P-Platers isnt going to stop them doing stupid things. In the 60 minutes article, a number of them questioned said that they would simply remove the P-Plates after hours. The government should be spending money on training not just young people, but all people how to drive. The best thing I ever did as a driver was a defensive driving course and that taught me how to brake and control my car in an emergency if the situation was to arise. The same goes for the TAC ads which shows Falcon/Dunnydores coming to a complete stop by locking up the brakes. Surely they should know that this is the worst way to slow a car down and that is what they should be teaching all drivers. Not making up stupid laws. Sorry about the length/bitchiness of this message, but when it comes to the government and car/car laws, I get really pissed of.

1967 Bluebird Wagon on Ebay
That guy with the Cedric (yes it is a Cedric, just called a different name) also had an old Silvia (CPS311) for sale which was 99.9% rusted. While having a look at the Silvia, me and me mate (Ripper) had a look at the Cedric which looks to be in very good condition. The interior was sweet and the only visible rust, with just a quick look over the car, was on the chrome bumpers.

280ZX Seals
Just wondering where you guys reccomend getting all my rubber seals from for a series 2 280ZX with targa roof (especially the ones for the roof)? Is there anywhere in Oz that would have them (Scotts Old Rubber here in Melb doesnt) or do I have to go the MSA in the USA? Cheers guys and girls

July Fast Fours Mag
I have just checked out the article in Fast Fours. I must say that I am disappointed in the way that the article was written. There was no mention of the amount of time and money spent on getting the body the way it is and the engineering to get the RB25 into the engine bay. The reference to "peered into the engne bay of this previously boring 240Z" also shocked me as the L series of Nissan engines is one of their best. Now onto the car... There has obsiviously beeen a lot of money spent on the bodywork getting it arrow straight and the paint job is pretty good. The choice of wheels of disappointing and it seems that Vince was trying to follow the trends of rice boy. The adaption of the skyline dashboard into the ZED dashboard simply ruins the the character of the car. Anyway, that just my two cents worth....
