Vin# HLS-50713 build date 1071 It doen't look it but it's in really bad shape...a real Flintstone-mobile!

Hubcaps
We pulled these off of a car in a salvage yard. About a third of the rim was buried in the mud. I cleaned, sanded and repainted them. These are going on our 240 even though they are not the original style.

Rear
The hatch needs to be adjusted since I replaced the rubber seal and weather-strip. The vents on the hatch designate this as an early 240Z.
-
Rear PanelTail Lights
I've already cleaned the tail lights and replaced the rubber seals. The panel was cleaned and repainted a flat black and reinstalled.

Rear Quarter Panel
This was rebuilt with bondo after it was apparently hit. The holes are where the pins (?) were used in an attempt to pull the dent.
-
Fender Door
This is the trailing edge of the front fender and the leading edge of the driver's door. Since the holes are not big the rust will be cut out and then patched.
-
Floor pan
The rust got a better hold on the passenger side under the seat support. This will be tougher to cut and patch.

Floor pan
These rust holes are on the driver's side. These will be cut out and then patched and primed. This side doesn't have as much rust as the passenger side.
-
Floor pan
The rust has been cut from the passenger side floor pan already. The hole on the right was from the battery and just above that there was a large dent that protruded into the car. The best we can tell, the car was bottomed out at one time.

Door
I've painted the edges of the inside of the doors with black paint just in case there are gaps when I reinstall the door panels.
-
Interior
I've painted the inside of the hatch area a flat black. This way, if the vinyl doesn't refit exactly, the gaps won't show as much.

Interior
I got rid of the white spray paint that covered the vinyl and the hard plastic trim panels, refreshed the trim panels and reattached everything.

240Zdragon72----- I have no idea. The man I bought it from had it just since last November. The inspection sticker and tags ran out in '96. I'm guessing that it's beensitting and collecting crud since then.
