I'll take a few pictures this evening. I've got a gold Z imported from Canada. This is the Z with the wooden steering wheel material handle. My 2 other 240Z's have the black handle.

My 71 240Z has a like wooden handle. Don't think I would be able to take it off.
  3. I voted Damn nice race car Craig -Brandon
  4. LOL Add a set of economy tires and have at it. Brandon.
  5. Welcome to the club!?! Please be more specific. Engine block type, engine head type ect. I assume you are tying to go from fuel injection to carbs. What type of carbs are you trying to use (SU's Webber's?) Be as specific as you can. More details you give us the better we can help you. Do your best to describe what you've got. We love to help -Brandon 1971 240Z
  6. For those of you who went to 2004 National Convention I would like to know what it was like to meet Mr.K, Mr. Matsuo, and Katayama-san. From all the pictures I'm very curious about the show and how the show went. Kats, Victor Laury,26th-Z,V12horse, what was it like. Was this the first time each of you had seen each other? I can only imagine how exciting the event was. Personally I can only dream about meeting&taking pictures with those great men. Not to mention listing to their great wisdom. Once in a life time do you get a chance like that. For all of us who were unable to attend please tell your story. We are Dying to listen!?! -Brandon
  7. That's 110 red. I've got a 1971 240Z 918 orange. It doesn't change colors in the light. You know the color/car when you see it. 110 red can look both red&orange depending on the light. I'm only able to take pictures using flash. -Brandon 1971 240Z 918 Orange 1971 240Z 901 Silver 1971 240Z custom paint job

Lady runs the show around there.........I just might be too lazy to do what she asks.
  9. I've got a Z with dealer installed air. They used the preexisting heater/fan controls. I don't know nothing more. After acquiring the car I dropped all a/c junk... I do have everything I took off on the parts shelf. -Brandon
  10. I like the original Factory air dams. The kiami*Sp* air dams are great too. If it's not period looking I don't think it should be on a Z. Unless of course your building a Z for show. Even then a 100% stock Z will get more Loven:love:!

Guys like that kinda make me mad. He's not only a con man he put parts in the wrong places. HE's got a rare left mirror on the RIGHT side!?! 1,000 dollar car to me. -Brandon
  12. In the U.S you can modify the late 260Zand all 280Z to take a 240Z bumper. Early 1974 260Z's has 240Z style bumpers Since you never say the 280Z I assume the seller means you can modify the front end to take a 240Z bumper. More than likely the seller means early 260Z's. -Brandon

For those of us that haven't reached higher levels of math yet, the US system is just fine. They did teach it to us in Biology Class back in high school.
  16. A front bumper here in the states in that condition would at least be $100-150 USD. A braided radiator hose went for I think $110 USD. -Brandon

Good question. Since when did car guys stop measuring engines by cubic inches?
  19. st0878 I've got 3 1971 Zeds. One is 918 Orange, the second is 901 Silver. My last Z is a custom two tone gold and black color. All stunning cars. I like originality. If it's a custom job I like it to be done very professionally with a lot of skill and work. I like your 280Z. Great color. Get the hood painted yellow. Look at it this way. People who snap their heads couldn't care less the age of the man/woman driving the car. The car caught their eye. The hole world knows your unable to live the good like till your 40+............. -Brandon

My hat goes off to MikeW. $20USD is very reasonable. Think of all the time and money it would take me to even try and make a box to similar quality. We know how much it took Mike to get it right. No need for me to go through the same experience. What means the most to me is, I rather give my money to a fellow member to support the same hobby that all of us enjoy! Keep up the good work Mike -Brandon 71 240Z
