the member is Saint or saint Z i'll have a look. I had a look at Miata seats or MX5 as the Aussies will know it. They look nice but because there in such a cheap car I feel there cheap in general so I'm not sure. I like my bottom BTW Alfadog haha.

I do like them indeed, but am wondering about how much they are and anything porsche is gonna be expensive unfortunately I am still a student and money is a bit tight but at the same time i don't wanna buy something only to buy something else later. I really like the stock seats but support is an issue and I'm not sure if padding them up extra would work or not. I guess I really wanted everyone's opinion on them otherwise I'll keep saving what i originally planned to do and build another motor up . In a couple of weeks I will get to see a few Z's as I am organising another get together for the club i helped start here in melbourne and a few have racing seats in their Z which i think works well and when i see them in person do like alot so I guess I'll take it from there. Great I'd already seen the pic of your seats and commented . I said back then i liked them and now I still do . That might be the best option to find a style i like and if the color etc is wrong re do them. I believe simon www.240z.id.au think web is correct did the same and usually i don't like that kinda look but in his car looks great. :cheeky: If people wanna share photos of their seats that would be great

I have loads of favorites, I really couldn't say my favorite I might agree with 240zx on this if I was pushed to really choose. I love Tod Kaneko's car and i believe he's a mechanical engineer so it would be a true pleasure to drive. I like all kinds of Z's for different reasons so I can't say for sure but I think it will mean i will have more than 1 Z (again) at some stage . Gav

Yeah no Auto Technica's for me. Corbeau looks really good and that classic bucket style is great wonder if i can get them custom done and vents installed like the ones Alan has . I was trying to find an Australian website for them with no luck yesterday I'll ask around cheers Gav

walked in to Auto Barn today and had a look at their seats they only stock Auto Technica are these the target of clothes? There was only really 2 options bright red or black. I was more keen on black but they are pretty heavy considering, and the look is "okish" to good haven't put them in there yet. Anyone know a thing or 2 about these they don't even have a website that i could find. I looked at seat reupholstery kits they look like a good idea and i can even get them done in leather which would really top it off. I am thinking about the seats Alan has now a bit more no luck with Ebay either. Alan if your reading can you PM me about your seats and what the chances are of getting a set and what i'd be looknig at in terms of $$$. Thanks, Gav:cheeky:

nissan 6cyc L series turbo manifold for me how much? Will the 280zx manifold and computer work for a turbo app? The distributor is it a Non turbo 1? Nose cones? How do you mean nose Cones? Will email too

Yep your right absolutely immaculate. Show stopper I like the flares even though I don't usually and I probably wouldn't myself and I'm not sure about the duel exhausts but my word the color the wheels the paint job 10/10.

I would agree with that i haven't seen chrome peel over time but another great alternative is HPC or jet coatings they use them in jets for high temp situations. http://www.240z.id.au/ is the site http://www.240z.id.au/images/car/nat2k1/concours/myeng1.jpg is the engine. What a response, I really like some suggestions Ben you are right I do like the original option bucket seats and have spoken to Alan before I have no idea what they'd be worth but they would really suit the Z. I don't mind modern seats so much but I know what you mean Alan. I was thinking of getting the originals buffed up a little but we will see. It's pay day today so i'll check what I've got and what i can part with maybe wait a little longer so i get what i want :cheeky: . Keep voting

Life's tough when the hardest decision i've been trying to make is if i should refurbish my old original 240z seats or go with a set of Sparco's, cobra's etc... Pro's for original : - Originals suit the period of the car they have a what i feel nice look to them and a timeless design. Easy to get in and out of (well fairly). Pro's for racing : Racing seats offer much more support and while it won't be a race car i enjoy sharp cornering etc. Con's for Original : The originals don't offer much support, tend to slide around when getting the Z up and out there. Probably heavier than racing seats. Con's for racing : Hard to get in and out I can imagine probably harder with standard steering wheel, not much freedom of movement. Ok so basically I would love to get a pair of racing seats but I don't wanna (Cheapen up my Z) with boy racer toys. I would probably get black ones so they don't stand out so much(like red ones would). It's like if you look into a 65' mustang you expect to see original leather seats not recaro's. Are you sure about the silver? Silver cars are actually quite stunning if you use like a Mercedes color but at the same time every new car is silver these days. With regard to painting over primer I'm not sure all i know is take your time with your undercoatings as get the surface right. Gav
