Stock as a rock the other not
Yes it's a very nice original Z Sulio, I was tempted to buy it myself. I'm glad Nathan bought it because it removes the temptation. If I had such an original car I'd just buy some rims like panasports and put the hubcaps on for car shows.

Heater fan knob
I found one on ebay not long ago. Brand new, I didn't realise my current one was in better condition than I thought so I guess I have 2. Try ebay first because shipping such a small item kinda defeats the purpose. (I'm in Australia). Good luck.

Header pics question!
I'm wondering what the general consensus is on this piece http://www.rebelloracing.com/price_zheader.jpg I believe it's a Nissan Motorsports piece and is the same as on the cover of Frank Honsowertz book the "how to modify....." It obviously works for Rebello.

Header pics question!
Wow that's enough money to put a big hole in my wallet. It sure is pretty but I don't think it's worth that much to me. I think I'd go with the Fujitsubo? header like Nzeder has. :cheeky:

Triple Carb Manifold Short or Long??
Well I did buy these from a guy in the US on ebay . So that might be part of the explanation. I've seen a few Canon manifolds around from time to time at a fairly cheap price. If I can get one cheap I might grab it just incase however as Alan said I don't think I'll stress too much over it for now.

Cam Grinders
Ok with all the cam grinders out there, who do you choose? Obviously I'd be inclinded to go with what Rebello Racing in the US use, however they are all custom ground cams. I don't suppose anyone knows what kind of cam's they use or who grinds them? I've had a look around at various vendors and they all seem to have very similar profiles. I'm wondering if the cam grinders in the US are using the same spec cams as those in Japan such as Kameari and the like. I myself have bought a schneider cam kit but want to get some opinions on the best cam grinders and the most successful high HP L-series engines and what they are all using? It just seems to me that alot of these camshaft companies just follow a premade template and don't bother trying to come up with the best cam profiles on their own. So what does everyone else think?

Triple Carb Manifold Short or Long??
Ok I got a set of Triple Mikuni 44's recently see my gallery if you like. They came with what I believe is a short manifold so the runners look a little more bent than the long runners of a long manifold. I'm wondering what the opinion is on these manifolds and how the length affects performance. I would believe that the longer runners would increase the torque of the engine but the shorter runners look a little restrictive with the bend in them. However having read a few articles on porting and air turbulence this might be the aim of the short manifold. To slow the air just enough and reduce the turbulence before entering the combustion chamber. The manifold itself is a Mikuni item it actually has a Mikuni stamp on it. So what's the verdict what do the experts think?

Silver Z (side)
Hi KenshinX, the owners name is Gavin Strongman he lives in Melbourne Australia. I've seen this car quite a few times. I believe the wheels are custom made to suit the Z offset and PCD. I can find out what brand they are exactly if you like just send me a PM and I'll find out for you.

Clean 240z w/ 27k Miles in Ft Lauderdale
Hi Carl, I'm curious about original colours and the value of Zed cars. My car was originally silver I can see when I check the areas under the carpet inside the car. The rest of the car however was painted red later in it's life. This includes engine bay inside the door area and the tail gate etc.. I have been considering painting the car it's original colour however if I was to go with a color say 910 Red would you say it would devalue my cars value to the right buyer? As oppose to painting it in the original silver it left the factory. We are talking a RHD HS30 Zed from Australia. I would appreciate your thoughts.

LD28 crank $$$
Yes but the crank key needed work from memory. I've seen one on ozdat.com advertised for $1200. I guess it's supply vs demand. When i contact stewart wilkins for mine he said he had sold the last one and was ordering more in because the first lot sold like hot cakes.
