I didn't realise you were joking there Bryan. I'm confident the Tokico's are fine but I'd rather find out what the springs are rated at and what shipping is before i buy them. What's the sense in bringing the kit all the way to Australia and paying for shipping of those rather large springs if they are not what I want?

Yeah i noticed a few things about this car. I like the shaving of the rear bumper it's well done but I've decided I'd rather put the rear bumper back on my car i think there is something missing when you shave it. The wheels are suprisingly nice looking never thought they'd work on a Z but they kinda do. Prefer Watanabe's though. I'm not fond of the front bar it looks too open and the lines need to be broken up and have a front bumper back on it. The bonnet is not bad maybe a little extreme. I'd have the centre piece of it more stock looking maybe a little bit of a bigger hump than stock and a carbon fibre look. VicZcar may be making some soon. One thing that bothered me was the way the suspension has been changed the rear strut towers look like they've been tubbed and he didn't show pics but I'd say it's a live axel rear end YUK!. The front suspension towers have had the bolts removed or something take a look at the pics??? The original seats were a nice touch but they lack a bit of support especially in a drag car like this. Dunno about the small indicators think they look cheap myself. I guess that's all i noticed .

$4500 for car #400 that's a joke if you ask me. I was gonna pay $500 cause that's all a wreck like that is worth so what if it's car #400 I can get a hold of #189 if I wanted to and that's in better condition than that and I don't think ever seen a serious accident either. More than i can say for #400. Oh well can't blame the guy for trying wasn't he trying to sell a 240z a while ago for $18k?

Yeah i dunno it's stupid season with Zeds for sale on ebay. I wouldn't bother with this one myself anyone recognise the motor? what is it where is it from? Body kit is something to be desired.

Yeah guy obviously knows nothing about the word resolution . The 260z 2+2 he has aswell is a complete bomb I haven't seen a Z so bad in ages.

I don't mind the red springs myself or yellow they look fine to me. I'm more concerned about how they work than anything else. I figure if Tokico are bundling there springs with these shockers then someone sat down and worked out the engineering principles to them and therefore they should work well together. Does anyone know what the springs are rated at though? I'm hoping they are between 260-300 pound. I'm still waiting on an Email back from JDMwerks. BTW Bryan he is always selling them so I'm not in a hurry to bid at the moment not until I know more about the springs and shipping.

Yes I'd also like some feedback especially on the kit with the springs. Since I am in Australia and posting a package with the springs will cost more and there is no point if the springs are not what I need or want in the first place. I've tried emailing them twice now and no response I want to know what shipping of these items would be to Australia? Does anybody have any idea??? Or know how i can find out, they have an automated message saying they are busy so i understand but still they should have gotten back to me by now. Gav,

Either car is a good choice and you will get to learn alot about cars just by owning either of them. I'd say if your a novice mechanic a 240z is a better choice since it's less complicated with smog pumps and all that other anti pollution gear. Everything is simple and if you find a hardly modified example your laughing really look for ones with good condition wiring looms and straight rust free bodies. If you are having trouble finding a 240z don't despair there are probably places you haven't been looking. Ask around join a club look on ebay etc.. In terms of money return if you do sell her a 240z I say will return more money later in life it's just a more sort after vehicle. Btw don't rely on quoted figures for HP in either car as different markets had different power outputs and those figures are Gross HP not NET HP.

You plicks!!! I have been wanting that set for ages. I emailed them 4 weeks ago asking about shipping to Australia and they haven't answered then tonight i was looking for them again and couldn't find them with the springs so i emailed about just the shockers. Yes the price is really good and I was gonna get them for my Z as soon as I have the money . Anyone know what the springs are rated at in terms of poundage?? At least they will have some more soon. For what's been done it seems very reasonable. I just think if you wanted more power you'd look at porting and camshaft profile that's all. It's a good results none the less don't get me wrong.

Yep and you can't have my Z for less than 12k

Sometimes port work is only a tickle it depends who did it and if it was bench tested etc.. I'd say there more power to be got but it's a case of more money as always.

Well whoever buys that white 240z might be able to keep those mirrors there. I'm watching red Zed myself and might go inspect it. Anyone else see the $30,000 240z on Ebay in Australia?

if we could get the company to make reproduction units for Z's that would be cool. Since they are becomming so expensive these days, I'm still not a fan of the clear lights but hey that's just me.

14k is too much for a 2+2 and although it's in good condition for 14K i'd want it to look alot better than this.

what head work has been done? i'd say that's what is holding it back at the moment
