GRM 240Z vs 350Z comparo
yeah exactly it's a retro design for people who want a retro car but prefer a new car over an old one.

Add your interest for clear lenses!
I think they are the Alteza style lights and I am really not interested as I think they look disgusting on most cars except the IS200. I knew someone was gonna wanna produce these for the Zed but honestly I laugh at people who put them on their cars and pay $500 for them. I'd rather buy a brand new set from Nissan for the obsurd $300 + than get a set of ricer lights. YUk there I said it.

Gunmetal or silver Rewinds on a yellow car?
Hmmm if it were my car I'd go Silver but the gun metal gray would look really good too. As Alfa said it's your choice you have to be happy with it. Photoshop is a good idea but sometimes you need to see in person.

GRM 240Z vs 350Z comparo
I guess I feel the same way. It's been recently though when I've had less and less time that I can see why a brand new 350z is convenient. I mean it has all the new car luxurys and style and it's a new car you don't have to spend several years fixing what old owners did not. You also don't spend half your life time searching for hard to find OEM parts. I'm not complaining I love my old Z I guess sometimes though I get a bit frustrated having an older car. I'll say that but I also wish i had another Z so go figure .

GRM 240Z vs 350Z comparo
The original concept was way uglier I actually like the 350z styling much more each time i see it. I much prefer them over the 300zx Z32 anyway.

Koni Questions
Yeah I can get the Tokico's pretty cheap I'm just wondering how much shipping is to Australia. I would like them adjustable so that on the road she's softer and when i do go on the track i can firm her up .

Idle too fast
this is definately a carb problem, I would find where they are adjustable and go from there. If the carbs are in good condition it should be an easy fix if they are worn it could be a vacuum leak

I didn't realise Shannons was so good back in the day my 2+2 was $700-$800 for third party only obviously they've done some revision. My 240z is now with GIO for $300 full comp they might be another to try. :classic:

What is the advantage of cutting the outer end of your control arm?
Ahhh yes my friend recently installed Z32 front brakes, and crysler front discs on full lock the discs rubbed against the control arm in that area. So it stands to reason this is a way to avoid that happening. This is something else you can get to avoid this but i forgot the name of them there like step ups or something.

How's this for a carby set up??
Hey Rick yeah I don't know why they set it up this way seems all backwards and dangerous as you found out. What have they done with the stock fuel rail set up did they toss it out? Looks like you could use those air filters would they bolt up? That way at least you could get your 240z carbs on and remove that fuel filter from where it is. Then you can hunt for a 240z airbox. Also try advertising on ozdat.com under wanted items you never know your luck!

Ok, here is the poll!
I totally agree unless your building a Museum standard car I wouldn't worry about it too much honestly. I'd rather have a worked L28 and enjoy it than worry about the fact that it should have an L24

Rear Drums Steel vs. AL
I've also noticed the stock 240z ones are finned to help disapate heat better. I'd personally go with stock 240z style ones.

Original G Nose for Sale Unused!
Yeah it is a bit dunno if they are made from carbon fibre doesn't look that way. I only really posted it for the car more than anything it looks pretty nice and the Wat's are great. One thing though the rear flare looks like it doesn't fit right like they put them on the car the wrong way around or something .
