There was a nice red 260z fitted with that kit for sale not too long ago maybe a couple of years. It was based in NSW I was considering travelling up to see the car and possibly buying it but it never happened. At least it's a subtle kit.

I wanted to attempt it myself aswell however i don't have the right equipment to get in and around the Nissan logo easily enough but I can at least practice on 1 of the 4 valve covers i have

The testarossa is pink though I'd rather see that destroyed

I have been driving mine alot more lately. I try to get her out as much as possible cause when it's finished it will end up a Show car I think and I'll be driving something else daily. While she has imperfect paint I don't mind taking her out even in the rain. However it's more the wear and tear I hate.

If it just looks like a circular mark from where the timing chain sits underneath it's probably the normal pattern caused by the oil splashing up against it. I wouldn't worry about the timing chain hitting it.

Hehe I was with the guy your talking about today his name is Dale he's a Viczcar guy. The aircon setup was installed by lindsy at Zshop in Melbourne it was a kit he had out the back. However if you are keen you can install any compressor unit if you want to fabricate the mount for it off the engine. Then it's just a case of a - and + and connecting it to the blower.

Take it from someone half way through building an NA L28 Stroker that will prob make 280HP at the flywheel with SU's. Go TurbO!!!!!!!! I'm thinking Im gona finish this stroker see if i'm happy with it for a while and when i get beaten by some stupid WRX it's Turbo time as Arnie would say . It's the best way to extract power from the old L-series.

All that aside it looks like a good kit with external waste gate and all . This would be awesome shame about the $1.5k he wants for it and that's in US dollars. If it were cheaper i'd buy it myself

I'm wanting to make a Datsun website based on my car and it's restoration but I want it to scream Nissan/Datsun early 70's Riff Raff . I want it to have that old 70's feel to it I guess you could say. I've always thought about a sound file to play when the user first logs on and if you've seen some of the 280zx and 280z commercials you'll know what I'm on about "Datsun , we are driven!" will be the welcoming sound file
