trivia
Agreed having done Physics at Uni I found metric units so much nicer and simpler to use. Main reason why I've never liked US measurements.

When they realised metric units were superior forms of measurement. Ahhh the French

what to do?
Member "Ben" has done the 3.1ltr stroker Turbo motor. It's possible but I couldn't tell you what type of connecting rods you'll need or pistons for that matter. It will be expensive to build I'd say go with the turbo L28 how it is first. See how you like it and if you feel the need for 450-500HP then you will want the 3.1ltr. Then again I'm the type who likes a clean all around car ie: paint interior, motor etc..

Ben's ride
I'm jealous, your smile says its all Ben, kinda like the time i got out of my friends 400HP Turbo 240z with a Gnose. It was awesome.

Yes seeing a picture of a Gnose conversion does not do it justice you have to see it in person to really appreciate what it adds to the Z car.

New dashes??
Send it to Dashboard restorations they are good at what they do. If you would like to see what they did check out www.240z.id.au his was done by them and mine also check my gallery. Why make the whole replacement part when all you need to do is fix the vinyl? If your serious about your Z then it's gonna cost alot more to restore than the initial amount you spent on it. So I wouldn't be worried about the cost of parts. :classic:
