  1. Thanks, I'll try it to see if I grt that fuel pump priming noise. Thanks, Kysa
  2. I've had a ongoing promlem with my 83 280 turbo. Driving along at "noload" power the fuel would cut out, if you stepped on the gas it would cough and accelerate properly. I took it to the dealer and after replacing all the sensors he said it was the brain. So I bit the bullet and replaces the computer. And no it wasn't the brain - it still did it. So I stuck it in storage to work on it later, but two years later I had to move it 10 miles to a new storage site. This time although it started and ran fine when I went to drive it any time I got over 1000 rpm it cut out. anyway I put it away for another 3 years then started it and moved it into the shop. The only sensor that was not replaced with a new unit was the O2 unit so I purchased and installed a new unit. Now my fuel pump will not work Is there a loop in the computer program between these two components? or did two things happen to fail at the same time? Any suggestions would be helpful before I start my journey down the replace and spend road. Thanks, Kysa
