  3. traded my 77 GMC 4x4 with my brother about 5 years ago. It was all original and in pretty darn good shape considering the age. Since then it has gone through a lot. r-200, C.V. axle and rear disk upgrade. Toyota 4 piston calipers up front, Cross drilled rotors on all 4 corners. Poly bushings in the rear(still need to do the front). Large sway bars(removed the rear cause didn't work with the C.V. axles). Converted it to a V-8 and T-5 beginning of 2003. Put Autometer Phantom gauges in it last X-mas and now I am slowly working on the body so I can get it back to the original green colr(P.O. panted it bronze. UGLY)

hey elaine the numbers aren't as important as is the comparison b/t all the cylinders. should be all within about 10% of each other. Depending on the compression ratio, and considering it supposedly has a new engine in it, I would think that it should have at least 150 psi. in each cylinder. once again, the comparison is the important thing

sounds like a fun project. Would have to be a pretty big cam to lose all vaccum. Does it run or just die when started

I think this is the first hand knowledge you are looking for: Part #44155-04S10 Factery Nissan brackets from an early Maxima Total cost for both was 145.00 (inluding. Ca. sales tax)They are on my 72 240 as we speak. I searched high and low at the wrecking yard for these parts and was unable to dind them, so I bought new. Took only a week to get Mike
  7. I am using a camaro slave converted per JTR. works just fine for me. Been over a year now. What size master are you using

sounds like a real boat that would be real fun to play with. Always have liked the old boats. have you had a chance to look into the vaccum problem sounds like a massive vaccum leak. Possibly intake manifold related. Hope this place is more fun!
