  1. No bodily fluids or other contamination in my garage. My slave cleans the place regularly. (if you've seen "American Wedding" you know where she keeps the mop!)
  2. ........especially with a little current running through it. just ask anyone on death row.

That is exactly the kind of Z that deserves them.
  4. Do you have a 240Z? If so, depending on how old it is, you may not need any PU for the transmission, just a new OEM mount. I don't think there is a PU mount for the early trans mount. Will? Have you found one that I don't know about? Not sure I would expect much reduction in road noise, uinless your car currently has no rubber left in the suspension at all. The PU tightens things up, but being less compliant, it didn't do anything to reduce noise in my car.

You still have 2.5 hours to buy it. Look like no one else wants it. 7 days & no bids.

Use the D100 sparingly. You can buy the CorrosionX, but the D5 spray is pretty good for maintaining cleaned connectors and you already have it (it sounds like).
  7. Absolutely NOT better. In fact FAR, FAR worse. Until 73 (in the USA) they didn't even have beams in the doors. Back in the 70's the Motor Vehicle Safety Standards were rudimentary at best. There is no way any car built in the 1970's can compare to a modern car in regard to safety. Want to be safe?........................stay at home in front of the computer, but don't touch anything.
  8. The beauty of eBay is that often there is one person with more money than brains who will over pay for an item. (I've done it myself a time or two, but not on this auction, I'll wait for Will)

  10. If I Recall Correctly If you or anyone ever wonders what an acronym means........just check out http://www.acronymfinder.com/ works for me.
  11. Jerry: Those covers wouldn't fit on a G Nose front end. Shorter than necessary for a G Nose. Carl
  12. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4534911997 IIRC, they have fetched $500 - $600 in the past.

So did we. A LONG time ago, but we did choose to alter the pronunciation of the letter and the spelling of certain words to our own liking. Is there a right or wrong? I don't think so. "BMW Zed 3" sounds just as goofy to people in the USA. (it's not, it's just different) BTW if "members close to the throne raised wooden crosses" now, the future wife of Charles (Princess Bow-Wow?) would like fall dead at his feet!
  14. Wake me when the language class is over. (NOT taking sides, just BORED)
  15. Gary: Did you find that car in Quincy, CA (out in the middle of nowhere, near the Feather River?)

  17. It just looks like Tomohawk's driving at break neck speeds 'cause of the AFDB he's wearing.

I agree with Will, but I'll add: It's a Refugee from "Pimp My Ride". That tail light panel is the most Gawd Awful looking thing I've ever seen. Looks like a bastard ZX but with the lights stolen from a 70's motorhome (or a 1950's pickup truck)! 'Nuff said! :devious:
  19. Steve: I think that you made the right decision. (now say a few prayers for pennance)

On Friday and Saturday (in the past) you could park your car in MSA's lot. As for the "altogether" part, the only way to park together is to arrive together and find an area with enough open spots. It's first come, first served, not reserved parking. On Sunday, they (MSA) will tell you where you are to park. With 500-600 cars to deal with, they can't let people park wherever they want, or to hold spots for friends.
  21. http://www.classiczcars.com/forums/search.php?searchid=70184 This search ought to get you started.
  22. No, I was pulling on your leg (one appeared longer than the other) The only problem I can see is dependent on the wheels installed on the car. If the offset is too negitive the wheel and tire may stick out so far that the tire will contact the fender when the new springs drop the body. These springs would probably NOT fit a 280Z. Usually the aftermarket spring sets are different for 280Z. They do probably make a set for the 280Z though. , Are you a dentist trying to drum up some business replacing fillings? (That was a JOKE, in case you missed it) (can't we have a chuckle in this thread?)
  23. Each set of springs lowers a car by a different amount, even though they are all sold under the same part number. Wire diameter and spring rates are different foe each set just to keep customers on their toes.
  24. I've seen them before, but don't know what they are called.
