How Old?
Personally, the color of MY car is what is most important to me. Even when I owned HLS30-23313 which was a #920 colored car..........until I changed it (the right way) after driving it for 3 years as delivered from the factory. I don't care if Michael Jackson is perceived as a FREAK, why should I care what color YOUR car is? THAT, my friend is YOUR job!

gas tank
Moyer's can fix ANY fuel tank, no matter how bad it is. But it can cost alot. Your guestimate of $500 to $1000 (USD?) should be enough to put the fuel system in good order unless you have to send the tank to Moyers. (Their service can cost $800 alone) Most FULL SERVICE Radiator Repair shops can repair moderate leaks, and seal the tank. But, I wouldn't recommend having them do the removal and installation. If you cannot do the removal and installation, IMO it's best to find a competent Automobile Service Center to do it and let them farm out the fuel tank repair work someone they trust who will warrantee the repair. They don't have one in London either, but that didn't stop Bernie's Boys from putting on a demonstration in downtown London last fall. It's all about promotion of the Melbourne race and the spectacle of a racecar running in a famous location where it doesn't belong.

My temporary member mugshot
Kinda reminds me of those old stag flicks with the actor's eyes covered with the little black boxes.

Correct metal fan, early 71
Stephen is correct. My original metal fan has 7 blades. (It's not on the car, I replaced it with a plastic fan shortly after I bought the car)

What kind of fundraiser merchandise would you buy?
Bigger than the model's cheek, but I don't wear thongs (anymore) so it would go to waste if I had a tat there.

What kind of fundraiser merchandise would you buy?
Here's an idea. How many sizes of Temp Tattoo do you think we need?

Rear Brakes
Also, I think that it depends greatly on *how* the brakes are used. Managing brakes is an art. One of our more knowledgable members (John Coffey) has posted alot on this subject in the 240z.org mail list.

I *think* it was Z-Point that posted about the baking process for car chassis.

What's your favorite site theme?
The themes that Mike previously had for us were quite a bit different from each other. But IIRC, Mike indicated that it was a real pain to support 5 different themes. (can imagine!) and that most people were using only one (or maybe two) of them.
-
What's your favorite site theme?
Those are not the themes reffered to in the poll. IMO, they are far too simplistic to be catagoized as a "Theme". "Mint" only changes the color (to puke green) "SpacePlastic" doesn't even show the club logo Here is a Z Desktop theme. It's from our member Kyle and is kind of old.

Which Ignition System do you use?
Where is the freakin POLL? I have a Pertronix Ignitor in my 72 240Z and it works absolutely GREAT in my car. I followed the instructions given (to a "T"). It outperforms the POS Crane XR700 that I wasted $100 and a year of fiddling around trying to make the trigger optics stay in alignment and which FAILED on me causing the engine to just switch off at random times. (like in the fast lane of an interstate, or in the middle of an intersection)
